Actress Kelli Berglund hit up West 4 Tattoo to get inked by Jon Boy on September 16, 2016. “Hurt like hell, lollipop didn’t help, but my tattoo’s better than yours”, she posted on her Instagram account. She had “vigilans diligentia auxilium” inked on her left arm, a Latin phrase translated to “watchful diligence assistance”.
In October 2013 Yasmine got matching “Krewlife” tattoos with her sister and fellow Krewella member Jahan Yousaf, Krewella’s tour manager David Carlson, and their video director Miles Evert. Yasmine’s is on her right forearm.
Yasmine Yousaf has a portrait on her right forearm of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain with half of his face as a zombie. A Krewella fan drew the design for her and she had it tattooed in April 2013.
She told iHeartRadio “This one is like my dedication to Kurt Cobain cause he’s what got me obsessed with music in general. They were my first obsession band. I was obsessed with Nirvana, so this is like my tribute to him being alive forever and his music, but him also being dead in real life.”
Acoustic artist Beth Lucas from Brisbane, Australia has been adding to her collection of colourful body art consistently over the last six years. What started out as a little rebellious inking has turned into a fully fledged artistic journey and Beth’s not about to stop anytime soon.
Beth has one full sleeve (right arm) that is made up of roses/vines and other traditional inspired pieces, such as a snake, dagger, locket with keys and ribbons, and a small bird cage on the inside.
Beth Lucas got added this tattoo of a red unicorn just underneath the cassette tape on her left forearm. It was done by tattooist Ash Against at 198 Tattoo.
Beth has random pieces on her left arm that include a rose and old-school microphone on the inside forearm, a small cassette with a love heart shaped tape reel around it on the outside of her forearm, a small “X” (which she has always sworn as a kiss, not to be confused with claiming straight edge), a lucky Thai number 9, and a gothic cross and rays on the outside tricep area. Her most recent addition is a red unicorn just underneath the cassette.
iwrestledabearonce singer Krysta Cameron has a half-sleeve tattoo on her right forearm which she is constantly adding to. On the outside of her arm are two blue and purple swallows holding a banner that says “TYA.” The swallows are done in a traditional style with black outlines.
Just below Krysta Cameron’s right elbow is a black and white a nautical star tattoo surrounded by flowers. She had the star first and added the orange flowers and then the blue and pink rose. She also has tiny stars and dots to fill in the open spaces on her sleeve, and later added a gray background behind some of the stars on her wrist.
Krysta Cameron has tow music-related tattoos on the inside of her right arm. Below her elbow is a red heart surrounded by the words “All is full of love,” which is the title of a Björk song. On her wrist are the words “Against Demons” and a sand-dollar (which looks like a star in a circle) from a Radiohead album art. This was one of her earlier tattoos and has a much heavier black look than her more recent work, however the sloppy look of the writing and image is a reflection of the original artwork.
In September 2014, Dev and her fiancé Jimmy Gorecki got matching tattoos on their forearms of a bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce.
