Chiara Ferragni tattooed a portrait of her beloved french bulldog Matilda on her knuckle in November 2016. Artist Dr Woo managed to pack an amazing amount of detail into the tiny tattoo on her left index finger.
Chiara got Matilda back in 2010 when she was just a two month old puppy.
Chiara Ferragani has a tattoo on the back of her forearm of two lions in an oval frame. The image of a male and female lion embracing each other represents the potential for finding a mate. And as luck would have it, she hit things off with her husband Fedez shortly after. She told Female:
At the end of August 2016, after a few months of being single and ‘dating’ guys who were not right for me, I tattooed two lions on the back of my right arm; a male lion and a female lion, which meant true love to me. The next day, Fede wrote to me to go to dinner and a week later we had our first date. I found my true love and [my son] Leo is the celebration of this love.
Chiara Ferragni has a very faint tattoo of the children’s book character The Little Prince (Il Piccolo Principe) on her left bicep. Her favorite Los Angeles artist Dr Woo was in Paris at the time and met up with Chiara in her hotel room to do the tattoo in March 2018.
The placement of her tattoo seems somewhat sideways, but it is oriented properly when she holds her arm outwards. The particular illustration that she chose features The Little Prince sitting in the grass with his star beaming down on him. It appears on the page where the prince tells the narrator “In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh!”
This heart with a cross at the top is a matching tattoo that Chiara Ferragni shares with all of the women in her family: sisters Francesca and Valentina Ferragni and mom Marina Di Guardo. The Italian family got inked in Los Angeles by Dr Woo in May 2012.
In November 2014 Chiara Ferragni added a tattoo of red lips on her right ring finger to match the eye tattoo which she already had on her opposite hand. She has used both eyes and lips in her designs for the Chiara Ferragni collection but the eyes seem to be more popular with customers and are much more common in her recent collections than the red lips are.
