Ariana Grande got her biggest tattoo yet in August 2018. She shared a picture on her instagram stories of what appears to be her arm with a wrapped-up tattoo of the character Chihiro from the movie Spirited Away. She also shared an excerpt from Chihiro’s character description, which explains why she is a source of inspiration:

Chihiro’s growth into a capable individual is a core factor to the movement of Spirited Away‘s plot. During her adventure in the Spirit World, she matures from an easily-scared girl with a child-like personality to match her age to a hard-working, responsible, and brave young girl who has learned to put her fears aside for those she cares for. Amy Winehouse’s first tattoo was the cartoon of a 1930’s sex-symbol, Betty Boop, on her lower back.

Maggie Lindemann got her second The Nightmare Before Christmas tattoo in July 2018, this time of the Oogie Boogie Man on her upper right arm. Her friend Aubrie-Elle was with her and got her own tattoo of the movie’s main characters Jack and Sally.

Chiara Ferragni has a very faint tattoo of the children’s book character The Little Prince (Il Piccolo Principe) on her left bicep.  Her favorite Los Angeles artist Dr Woo was in Paris at the time and met up with Chiara in her hotel room to do the tattoo in March 2018.

The placement of her tattoo seems somewhat sideways, but it is oriented properly when she holds her arm outwards.  The particular illustration that she chose features The Little Prince sitting in the grass with his star beaming down on him.  It appears on the page where the prince tells the narrator “In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh!”
