Chiara Ferragni celebrated the birth of her son Leone with a tattoo of lioness and cub on her upper right arm.

This tattoo relates to another lion tattoo that she has on the back of her arm.  She got the first tattoo of a male and female lion together to symbolize her hope for finding true love.  That was in August 2016 and she began dating Italian singer/rapper Fedez almost immediately after.  They became engaged in May 2017 and welcomed their first child in March 2018.  The lion tattoo is actually the reason that she chose to name her son Leone, which is the Italian word for lion.  So while the lion couple represents Chiara and Fedez, she wanted to add a new lion tattoo for her son.  Leone was born on March 19, 2018 and only a few weeks later she got this tattoo on her upper right arm of a mother lioness with her baby lion cub.

Chiara Ferragni and her now-husband Fedez got matching tattoos on their hands of a raviolo with a cutesy smiley face (we Americans would call it a ravioli but technically that’s the plural form).  While a pasta dumpling might seem like a strange idea for a tattoo, it’s significant to the couple because Fedez calls Chiara “raviolo” as an affectionate nickname.  Now that they have a baby they call him “raviolino,” meaning little ravioli.

This tattoo was done by Jon Boy in March 2017 and it was the first time in nearly four years that Chiara had been inked by anyone other than her favorite artist Dr Woo.

Chiara Ferragani has a tattoo on the back of her forearm of two lions in an oval frame.  The image of a male and female lion embracing each other represents the potential for finding a mate.  And as luck would have it, she hit things off with her husband Fedez shortly after.  She told Female:

At the end of August 2016, after a few months of being single and ‘dating’ guys who were not right for me, I tattooed two lions on the back of my right arm; a male lion and a female lion, which meant true love to me. The next day, Fede wrote to me to go to dinner and a week later we had our first date. I found my true love and [my son] Leo is the celebration of this love.

Chiara Ferragni has a very faint tattoo of the children’s book character The Little Prince (Il Piccolo Principe) on her left bicep.  Her favorite Los Angeles artist Dr Woo was in Paris at the time and met up with Chiara in her hotel room to do the tattoo in March 2018.

The placement of her tattoo seems somewhat sideways, but it is oriented properly when she holds her arm outwards.  The particular illustration that she chose features The Little Prince sitting in the grass with his star beaming down on him.  It appears on the page where the prince tells the narrator “In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh!”
