Cindy Kimberly has a hand-poked astrological design on her upper back created by Neiz Vesten. The artist creates his own “Code Ink” designs for each of his clients based on their birth date. Cindy’s unique tattoo features an upside down triangle, a spiral of dots, and a cross. She had it done while in Bali in September 2016.
Her artist Neiz Vesten writes:
My last tattoo #CodeInk in Bali for @wolfiecindy. I only create artwork for each individual person who would love to embody my art for the rest of their days. All I need is your date of birth & with that I create specific codes that represent you & only you. I create MY art & MY vision. I don’t create art work upon my client’s ideas or request nor do I sell my designs.
Vanessa Martinez has a space inspired tattoo on her left forearm. This ink was the forth she did and it interconnects with a triangle form filled with crystals done at the same time.
The triangle represents femininity while the space reminds her of the fascination she has for space and her younger idea of becoming an astronaut. There she has the Sun and the Moon and her favorite planet – Saturn – also three small circles at the bottom, because “3” is an important number in the Universe.
The third tattoo Vanessa Martinez got was put on top a scar and it is an outlined triangle.
She said the little triangle represents the YouTube button and even if some people would consider that to be stupid, YouTube represents a big deal for her.
In February 2015, Lynn Gunn got a matching triangle tattoo with PVRIS’ touring drummer Justin Nace and their merch girl Drew Elizabeth Wille. Lynn and Justin both got the tattoo on their left thumb while Drew’s is on her wrist.
The inverted triangle with a line through it is the elemental symbol for “Earth,” which is one of the four basic elements in alchemy along with air, fire, and water.
