Sherri DuPree Bemis got a chest tattoo in July 2018 featuring a rose and the words “up all night.” As a mother of three, her kids often keep her up at night. She was inspired by an illustration of a tattooed mom wearing a nursing bra, but rather than getting that design on her she got a tattoo similar to one that the cartoon mother has. She wrote on her instagram:

New Ink by the masterful @jwhitttattooer! (It’s now my favorite tattoo). When I saw @drawingsbynicole’s ‘Up All Night’ art (swipe for it), I totally connected with it and wanted to get a piece inspired by it; As always, @jwhitttattooer was able to interpret it perfectly and create this beautiful design. ?
I feel so blessed to know such talented, and humble people filled with genuine passion and creativity. They make the world a better place.

Sherri DuPree-Bemis had this black ink design on her right wrist from December 2015 to June 2017. The minimalist image of coffee being poured from a mug is the logo of The Foundry Coffee House in her hometown of Tyler, TX.

Thanks for the new ink @coleknoxx✌?️ Coffee, in general, holds a special place in my heart ? but @foundrycoffeehouse is the most special to me and will always symbolize the best of times with friends, coffee, pie, more coffee, donuts, more coffee ect… Also, my pops @boyd_dupree designed the logo so we have a win-win situation here. ☕️?

Unfortunately she didn’t like the way the tattoo turned out, and had it covered up with a heavy black heart two years later.

Cover-up of what was a badly-rendered tattoo of the @foundrycoffeehouse’s logo. My dad @boyd_dupree designed the logo and I love it…but the artist who did it on my arm ?…Well. Needless to say, it’s now covered ?

Sherri DuPree-Bemis has a tattoo on her upper right arm featuring the characters Mr. Tumnus (a half-goat) and Lucy Pevensie from the C.S. Lewis book series The Chronicles of Narnia. Artist Jeremy Swan did the tattoo in July 2013. It honors Sherri’s daughter Lucy Jean Bemis who was born a few months prior in February 2013.

She writes: “Nearly 20 years ago I first heard the story of C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (my mom @kimbrtones read it to us as kids) and I decided that, one day, if I ever had a daughter I would name her “Lucy” (after little Lucy Pevensie). It’s mind blowing that dream from my 10 year old self came to fruition and that I was given/trusted with that gift. The gift of my own little Lucy! Your dad @maxbemis and I love you so much kiddo! Thank you to @swanjeremy for creating this beautiful tattoo in her honor. Art by Pauline Baynes.”

There is a moon smiling over a house which is a reference to the Eisley lyrics “mr. moon shines down on my home” from the song “Mr. Moon.” The tattoo expresses her love for her home state–the DuPree family lives in Tyler, TX and Sherri now owns a house there with her husband Max Bemis. 1. to be honest I have to agree with you Alkaid. The two big pieces on her upper arm are really beautiful and well-designed — especially the Texas one! But all of her newer ones (including two more I just added) seem so random and simple.

  2. I liked her tattoos, but since she added the flame, batman and the say anything tattoo i don’t really like them anymore…..

  3. Maxim, is in Mac’s handwriting, I think it’s adorable. And I think that the first tattoo is a pull string doll. She loves dolls. Lol.

  4. The texas tattoo doesn’t have a sun, it has a moon. Eisley has a song called “Mr. Moon” and a lyric is “Mr Moon shines down on my home.” Just to clarify! :)

  5. Amazing ink, and very creative considering they were drawn by her. Not liking the ‘Maxim’ on her arm…just don’t like the style.
