Julia Michaels got this tattoo below her left elbow in December 2017 and it’s still somewhat of a mystery. It looks like the bust of a statue with its hair in a bun. The face is totally flat with no facial features and a crude smiley face is drawn on. It’s a similar theme to the faceless woman on her bicep which is about the feeling of anonymity that she felt was still writing songs for other artists to sing. The cartoonish face makes us think that this tattoo is about putting on a fake happy face and hiding your real face and emotions from the world.

Danielle Bregoli has a tattoo of a rose on her right ankle. The inking, which she got in spring 2018, can be seen in her Bhad Bhabie “Gucci Flip Flops” music video.
Ash Costello has a tattoo on her right forearm of two hands holding a heart and crown. The design comes from traditional Irish Claddagh rings. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty. Claddagh rings have historically been used as engagement and wedding rings, and Ash got the tattoo shortly after her March 2018 engagement to Jimmy Trigger.
Avril Lavigne got this gothic-style cross tattoo on her left wrist from artist Michael Kortez in November 2017. She doesn’t seem to be actively involved with any particular religion, but she does believe in God.
The tattoo on Nia Lovelis’ shoulder is a sweet tribute to her sister and Hey Violet bandmate Rena Lovelis. Below the daisy flower is “04.06.1998” for Rena’s birthday on April 6, 1998.
Nia Lovelis got this stick-and-poke Saturn tattoo as a surprise for her mom. She showed off the new planet tattoo, which is located on the front of her hip, in a February 2016 twitter photo.
Olivia Holt’s first tattoo was a star on her right wrist which she got from artist Daniel Winter in April 2017.
The seven-pointed star, also known as a septagram or heptagram, has many meanings in different cultures. One of its oldest uses is to represent the seven planets which were known to ancient alchemists. A newer interpretation uses the star as compass representing the directions North, South, East, West, Above, Below, and Within. The symbol has been used in Christianity with multiple meanings: the seven days of creation, the perfection of God, warding off evil, and the the seven gifts of the Spirit – wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, and delight in the Lord.
