The writing next to ends with the words “fragile thing,” though there may be more text hidden below her clothing.
Ash Costello and a friend got matching tattoos of the word “Believe” written in the Disney font in August 2010. Ash’s is on her right forearm while her friend’s is on her ankle.
Ash Costello got this tattoo above her right elbow of Mickey Mouse with her mother’s name “Sandra D” in July 2010. She writes “Mickey of course! Old-school pie eyes & my mom’s name, Sandra D. “My family is a big Disneyland family. My great grandma, my great uncle, they all worked at Disneyland. My great uncle Eddie worked alongside Walt Disney developing the art form. My grandma was a can-can dancer. My mom worked there for a little bit, I worked there for a little bit. I just love it. I grew up like walking distance down the street. My family and I used to go to Disneyland like 3 times a week. I remember times when my mom would pull me out of school to go. So it just reminds me of being really happy at that time in my life. I can’t let it go.”
Hanna Beth Merjos got a Mickey Mouse-inspired cartoon tattooed just above her left knee in April 2013.

Alana Potocnik’s knuckle tattoos are a red music note on her pinkie, a green treble clef on her ring finger, a letter “P” for Pittsburgh on her middle finger in black and gold (the Pittsburgh Steelers colors), and a red and black Mickey Mouse head on her index finger.
Tay Jardine got her first tattoo in December 2012. She and her friend Sam Panagakos got matching tattoos on their wrist of Simba from The Lion King. The tattoos were done at Planet New York Tattoo in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She explained the meaning on her twitter: “it’s a reminder for me to stay grounded ‘remember who you are'”
Tay is a big fan of Disney movies and The Lion King is one of her favorites. The particular image that they chose is not the character Simba himself, but Rafiki’s drawing of Simba from the film.
Scout Taylor-Compton loves the Disney movie The Little Mermaid so much that she got a tattoo of Ariel. She explained to Current.com: I am deep, deep, deep fan of Little Mermaid. Yeah I know, childish. I love Ariel so much, she completes me, so much that I got her tattooed on my wrist. Everywhere in my house is Ariel-themed.
