Yasmine Yousaf got this tattoo on the back of her right hand in April 2014. It is a raven perched atop a human skull. The skull has a third eye in the center of the forehead. The raven and skull are both symbols of death while a third eye represents enlightenment.

She told iHeartRadio “This one is like my dedication to Kurt Cobain cause he’s what got me obsessed with music in general. They were my first obsession band. I was obsessed with Nirvana, so this is like my tribute to him being alive forever and his music, but him also being dead in real life.”

Yasmine describes it as their “dedication day.” “We had been a band since 2007,” she told Lewis Howes, “but June 8th 2010 was the dedication day. Jahan dropped out of college. It was a couple days after I graduated high school. So it was the date we all, when Kris was in the group, we all three decided ‘this is gonna be the no-turning-back day.’ Who knows what’s gonna happen. We might not go anywhere, but we’re gonna try at least.”
