Miley Cyrus got a tattoo of a fish on her upper arm from artist Dr Woo in February 2015. It is a tribute to Miley’s pet blowfish who passed away. She has a history of commemorating her pets through both her music and tattoos. She wrote a song “Pablow the Blowfish” for her digital album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz which was released in August 2015, a few months after the tattoo.
Miley Cyrus celebrated the 4th of July in 2015 by getting this tattoo of an avocado on the back of her upper left arm from artist Lauren Winzer. Avocados are one of Miley’s favorite foods, especially after becoming vegan. Her instagram posts show lots of meals including the nutrient-rich fruit. On one avocado photo she wrote:
The luxurious life of a vegetarian in LA… So many good plants/fruits/veggies to eat you ain’t gottttta eat dead animals! Everything that goes into my body is aliiiiivvvve! To keeeep ME alive! Love this life!
Miley is a proud advocate for animal rights in all forms: she is against hunting, only wears faux furs, and is the owner of many rescue pets.
This tattoo of a tooth on Miley Cyrus’s right elbow is one of many matching tattoos which she shares with The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne and his girlfriend Katy Weaver, who are two of Miley’s closest friends. All three got their tattoo in April 2015 but each on different body parts.
Wayne’s version of the tattoo is on the top of his foot and has a letter “K” in the center which is presumably for Katy. It’s placed next to a tattoo of Miley’s “MC” smiley face logo. Katy’s is on the back of her upper left arm.
Paris Jackson inked on her left ankle with the Standing Rock Tattoo, a design by Stephanie Big Eagle, a descendant of the Oceti Sakowin (Great Sioux Nation) and a No DAPL movement participant.
Chloe Ferry is one of a growing group of stars who have all gotten “Shhh” tattoos on their fingers, a trend started by Rihanna. Cher Lloyd, Lily Allen, and Lindsay Lohan have also copied the famous tattoo. (more…)
Miley Cyrus got matching “BIEWTY” tattoos in April 2015 with her assistant and long-time friend Cheyne Thomas. Hers is on the back of her left upper arm while his is on the back of his wrist. “Biew Biew” is Miley’s nick name for Cheyne.
Chloe Ferry has a tattoo of a heart on her left right finger, where a wedding ring would be worn.

Miley Cyrus got this tattoo of a planet on her left forearm in April 2016. She shared a photo of the tattoo on her instagram page and implied that the planet was meant to be Jupiter, tagging her post with “#lilbbjupiter.” Her followers rushed to correct her and tell her that the planet with rings is actually Saturn, not Jupiter. However Miley is not entirely wrong — technically Jupiter does have rings, they just aren’t as prominent as Saturn’s.
She edited the instagram caption, which now reads “permaaaa skinnnnn arrrrrttttt by daaaa mosssst bad a$$ @laurenwinzer ?????? #stonerasfuck.” We don’t know whether she realized she had made a mistake or if she stands by it and just didn’t want to deal with the criticism. Tattoo artist Lauren Winzer seems to think it’s not any specific planet, writing “Lil baby planet and healed kitty from 2 years ago for lil baby @mileycyrus always getting the cutest things.”
In January 2016, Miley Cyrus got a tattoo of a cartoon dog on her upper right arm, just below her armpit. The simple line drawing comes from the artwork of Ben Jones, whom Miley has collaborated with on a few occasions.
