Supermodels Cara Delevingne (left) and Jourdan Dunn (right) celebrated their friendship with matching tattoos on their hips. The pair have nicknamed themselves “DD” for their last names Delevingne and Dunn. For the tattoo design, they chose a monogram-style “DD” logo with the two letters interlocking. Artist Bang Bang did the inkings in June 2014.
Cara Delevigne’s right side tattoo says “XII” which is the Roman Numeral for the number 12. In an instagram post she wrote “12 is a magic number.”
Cara Delevingne has writing tattooed underneath both of her breasts. It says “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in thin cursive lettering. It’s an optimistic life philosophy as well as the title of a song by Bobby McFerrin.
Amber Rose has a tattoo on her stomach and paw prints on her right upper thigh. The paw prints were her very first tattoo and she was underage when she got them. “I was 15 and I got paw prints on my upper thigh. It was kind of a fad in Philly and all the girls had them,” she told Inked. She originally had writing on her stomach and she got this floral design as a cover-up.
Laura Vandervoort has a tattoo of writing on the right side of her ribcage. It says “Remember to come and check on me.”
Ivy Levan has a large portrait on her right side of the character Morticia Addams from “The Addams Family.” She was seemingly inspired by this fan drawing. She redrew the face herself, adding more contours and exaggerated makeup, and had it tattooed by artist James Reed in December 2014.
JoJo Levesque has a tattoo on her side that says “ever to excel” in red ink. This phrase comes from the Ancient Greek epic poem Iliad by Homer. (more…)

Foxes has a daisy tattoo on her right hip
Mila J has Japanese writing tattooed along the top of her left shoulder. It is the seven virtues of Bushido, the principles of Japanese samurai warriors. These virtues are: righteousness (義), courage (勇), benevolence (仁), respect (禮), honesty (誠), honor (名誉), and loyalty (忠義).
She got this tattoo in memory of her deceased brother Miyagi Chilombo, who died of brain cancer in 2012. He had the 7 principles of the samurai on his back and their sister Jhené Aiko has the same tattoo on her leg.
