Lucy Hale has cursive writing tattooed below her left breast. It says “Courage, dear heart” which is a line from C.S. Lewis’ book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in the Chronicles of Narnia series:
“But no one except Lucy knew that as it circled the mast it had whispered to her, “Courage, dear heart,” and the voice, she felt sure, was Aslan’s, and with the voice a delicious smell breathed in her face.”
Lynn Gunn got a huge tattoo on her left side from artist Baud Nach in December 2016. The drawing depicts two nude women draped in a sheet. The subjects appear to be lovers, as one women has her hand on the other’s breast.
The artist wrote on instagram “It’s always such a pleasure to hang out with you @lynngvnn ! You’re a real badass!!!!” Lynn responded “Thanks for letting me be your guinea pig. Absolutely killed it again ? if you’re in the NYC area and want an awesome experience with incredible work to match, hit up my dude @baudnach“
Cardi B has a huge peacock tattoo on her right side which stretches from her waist all the way down to her thigh.
Louisa Johnson and her boyfriend Daniel Elliot have matching tattoos of their own birthdays in Roman Numerals. Louisa first revealed the tattoo on the top of her left shoulder in February 2016. The tattoo says “XI-I-XCVIII” for her own birthday January 11, 1998 (11-1-98). Daniel’s tattoo is on the left side of his chest and says “XXII-XI-XCV” for his birthday November 22, 1995 (22-11-95).

Lena Dunham gets a nek ink with a girl skateboarding on her stomach. The artwork is inspired by Lauren Thornhill Caswell and was done abobe her scar from her endometriosis surgery.
According to the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum, Laura Thornhill Caswell is a skateboarder who first gained notoriety in 1975 at the age of 13 and went on to become the first female skater to get a board named after her and a full feature interview in Skateboarder magazine.
“Very satisfying evening getting my (decade old!) tats touched up by my good friend @rbrtbnhm at Brooklyn Tattoo. He added this new one, a @langleyfox illustration of living legend @laurathornhillcaswell. Cuz sometimes I really need a reminder that we came here to rip shit up… Plz note she’s riding one of my Endo scars ???”, Lena wrote on her Instagram post.
Lena Dunham shared her new ink on her Instagram on Sunday October 15 2016, including a tattoo of The Odeon on her left butt cheek – in honor of the famed restaurant in New York City. The new design piece was inked in an orange color to matched the neon logo of the real life restaurant.
She captioned the image: “And because I’m a deranged daughter of TriBeCa, the Odeon neon sign now lives on my ass for life.”
Grimes got a tattoo on the right side of her ribcage from artist Delphine Noiztoy in November 2016. The parts that we can see contain the runes “ᚷᛈᚫ ᚷᛗᚫ” representing the letters “gpa gma.”
