Halsey got this number 511 tattoo on the back of her arm in August 2013. It is for her brother Sevian Frangipane’s birthday which is on May 11th (5/11).
On May 11, 2015 she wrote “Today is so special to me I’ve had it tattooed on my body for years. Happy Birthday @sevianfrangipane I love u 4ever”
Halsey got her lucky number “17” tattooed on her knuckles in March 2013. It’s on her right hand index and middle fingers.
Halsey has a tattoo on her thigh which says “FEROX” in capital letters. “Ferox is Latin for wild, courageous, spiritable,” she explained in an instagram post. A friend did this homemade tattoo in October 2012. Her previous tattoos were done professionally and this was her first DIY “stick and poke” style inking. “It was given to me with a sewing needle, India ink, and a lot of vodka,” she tweeted.

Halsey got the outline of two roses tattooed on her right shoulder when she was 17 years old. She seems conflicted on whether she wants to color the tattoo. In June 2013 she tweeted “my rose tattoo is my favorite! Had it since the beginning of my senior year of highschool! I cant bring myself to color it!” but only a few weeks later she wrote “I neeeeeed to fill in my rose tatttooooo! And get tons more! I want half a sleeve by Fall! I’m determined.” It’s been years and she still has the outline, so she must like it the way it is! However she seems to have changed her mind on this being her favorite inking. In May 2014 she tweeted “I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to get the two roses tattooed since everybody else in the world has one now.”
Halsey has had this colorful dagger tattoo on her right thigh since she was 16.
Halsey’s first tattoo was the anchor in her right foot, which she got when she was 16 years old. It has a heart and a banner with her mother’s initials “NCF.” Her mother also got a tattoo to match.
