Melissa Marie Green got this pair of candy conversation hearts tattooed on her elbow in May 2014. The blue heart has the initials “J.P.S.” for her boyfriend at the time, Joshua P Schlienz, and the pink heart says “XOXO” for hugs and kisses.

Bajha Rodriguez got her second tattoo in August 2014, only a week after her first. It’s three symbols on her right hand fingers to represent the three members of her R&B girl group O.M.G. (formerly know as The OMG Girlz). Each of the girls has their own signature hair color and nickname. The purple crown is for Breaunna Womack aka “Miss Babydoll,” the blue star is for Zonnique Pullins aka “Miss Star,” and the pink heart is for Bajha herself, who is know as “Miss Beauty.”
Zonnique Pullins has a green and purple spaceship tattooed on her pinkie finger knuckle. “In my own little world. Always,” she tweeted.
Melanie Martinez got her first two tattoos in one session in July 2014 with artist Lauren Winzer. The larger of the two is a colorful pastel carousel horse on her left forearm. Melanie has said that she loved carousels as a child. One of her first singles was the song “Carousel” in which uses a carousel as a metaphor for a relationship which is stuck going in circles. The tattoo isn’t specifically a reference to the song, but rather both are a reflection of the same aesthetic. “There are certain [tattoos] that mean different things. I loved carousels since I was little, but that’s also why I wanted to write a song called Carousel, so everything in my life kind of fits together,” she told Now 105.

Neon Hitch has a tattoo of the bus and trailer that her family lived in when she was a child. The same image was used on the cover of “Happy Neon” mixtape. It’s on her right forearm next to her “Trailer Trash” tattoo. Artist Ron Cohen did the tattoo in June 2014.
R&B singer Faith Evans commemorated her marriage to record label executive Todd Russaw with a tattoo on her chest that says “Faye & Todd For Ever” with a rose and heart. Unfortunately their relationship was not forever as the tattoo proclaimed, and they filed for divorce in 2011 after 14 years of marriage.
The rose itself is a cover-up of another tattoo. Looking closely, there are some black letters that can be seen through the red ink. Her original tattoo was “BIG ❤ Faye” for her husband The Notorious B.I.G., who died in 1997. She added the rose to cover-up BIG’s name, while leaving the heart and her own name visible.
She began dating Todd in 1997 while she and BIG were separated. They married in 1998 after Biggie’s death and she changed the tattoo shortly after.
Faith is still sporting Todd’s name years after the divorce and we don’t know if she has plans to ever cover or remove it. She remains in close contact with Todd as the former couple have two children together.
Lena Headey has a red bird tattoo on the right side of her back and small cherry blossoms scattered around it
Lena Heady has a colorful red lotus flower tattooed on her upper back. The lotus is a symbol of purity in Buddhist tradition.
Kaleido lead singer Christina Chriss has a half-sleeve tattoo on her upper left arm. It’s a portrait of a woman surrounded by roses.
