Sherri DuPree-Bemis

Sherri DuPree-Bemis got this portrait on her left forearm in May 2013. It was her first tattoo to incorporate color. The girl in the tattoo is a character from her husband Max Bemis’ comic book series Polarity who was loosely based on Sherri herself. It was drawn by Jorge Coelho and tattooed by Jeremy Swan at Broken Art Tattoo. Max got a tattoo of his own at the same time featuring a different character from Polarity. (more…)

Ariana Grande has a tattoo on the left side of her ribcage of the word “Bellissima” which is the Italian word for “beautiful.” It’s a nickname given to her by her grandfather and she got the tattoo in honor of him. “I got ‘bellissima’ small on my side. It’s what grandpa’s called me my whole life,” she tweeted. Romeo Lacoste did this tattoo in March 2014.

Ariana Grande’s second tattoo was writing on the back of her neck. It was done in March 2014 by artist Romeo Lacoste from the TV show “Best Ink.”

She writes: “not exactly the easiest spot to get a photo of on your own but nonetheless I am very happy. thank you again @romeolacoste”

Ariana Grande’s first tattoo was an outline of a heart on her toe. She got the tattoo in April 2012 while recording her debut album. Its purpose is to serve as a reminder of this exciting time in her life. She also has a song called “Tattooed Heart” which is one of her favorite songs that she’s written.

She writes: “Got my 1st tattoo in the studio with @Skysnuts (LMFAO) while we were recording a really fun duet which you’ll all hear soon! (not tattooed heart).. This year has been 1 of the happiest and most enlightening years for me and I felt like I wanted to do something special to remind me of this time….writing my 1st album, working with my castmates & best friends on victorious, being young, having fun and being surrounded by love.. so..I wanted to do something permanent to remind me to always be grateful and not take anything for granted so.. I got a little tattoo. :)”
