Leona Lewis won’t reveal the exact meaning of the Arabic writing which she sports on her left wrist. She shares the tattoo with her ex-boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa whom she has known since age 10 and dated for many years until their breakup in 2010. “It’s incredibly private and something that we both had done,” she told Mirror. “I can’t reveal what it is. Some things need to remain private for me.”
Leona Lewis got the flower tattoo on her left side as a tribute to her boyfriend Dennis Jauch. “I was in Berlin with my boyfriend and it seemed like the right thing to do,” she told Fabulous, “I wanted to mark the moment, so I went into a tattoo parlour and had a little flower done. It represents starting afresh, something blooming.”

Though this tattoo may seem gruesome, it symbolizes faith and love. “On my arm, I have a heart across a star, which symbolizes my religion, and the love I have all the time for everyone around me. The star behind it also symbolizes everything I am,” she told Urban Ink. “Three of [my tattoos] symbolize the faith I have and possess, and try to keep up everyday. I feel strongly and deeply that my faith got me here, that its how I accomplished my dreams. I feel my belief in god gave me the strength to leave Oakland, and to be successful at accomplishing the things Ive accomplished so far. Keeping all of that in mind always gives me strength.”
Keyshia Cole has her own initials “KC” tattooed on her left wrist with a rose and flames. She told Urban Ink “On my left wrist I have K.C. with clouds and a rose and smoke coming from it, because I’m hot.”
Keyshia Cole has a tattoo of a teddy bear on the outside of her right ankle. She told Urban Ink “I have a bear on my leg, which I got about four years ago because there was this bear I really loved.”
