Avril Lavigne’s first tattoo was a star on the inside of her left wrist in the style of her Let Go album artwork. She got the tattoo in 2004 while working on her follow-up album. Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, with whom she co-wrote the song “Nobody’s Home,” also got the same star on his wrist.

I got this same tattoo recently in the exact same location (inside of left wrist) as a tribute to Avril. I wanted to do something that said “I have been a fan of hers since her first album and also says thank you to her for all she has done for me through her music but also to display how she is my true hero in the world.”
