Lauren Jauregui has memorial tattoos for both of her grandmothers. First she got a dragonfly on the back of her neck for her mom’s mother.  Then she got this tattoo of her paternal grandmother’s name “Angelica” on her left forearm in October 2016.

After Angelica died in February 2015, Lauren posted a heartfelt tribute on her instagram page:

Yesterday I lost a large piece of my world. My most beautiful, intelligent, strong, angel. The woman who taught me that a strong mind and heart are essential in this life. Thank you for giving me your unconditional love and wisdom throughout my life, listening to me and making me feel like I was heard and that my feelings were always valid. You will always be in my heart. Thank you for 80 years of your essence, you will be missed greatly but I know that God is happy that you’re home and safe now and I also know you will always be with me. I love you Abuelita, mi linda..siempre.❤️
