Kreayshawn gave herself the heart tattoos on her ankle. She told Inked “I would always fuck around with the tattoo gun and give myself tattoos like the hearts around my ankle. I would love to be a tattoo artist someday but I feel like that would have to wait for now.”
Candy Hearts singer Mariel Loveland has an outline of a heart tattooed on the left side of her ribcage.
The tattoo was rather painless. She writes “since it was so small it barely felt like anything.”

Ellie Goulding’s first tattoo was a red ink outline of a triangle on the inside of her right wrist. Ellie loves triangles and in her song “Wish I Stayed” she sings “Why do I always draw triangles instead of the words this paper so deserves?”
She told GQ magazine “I got a random tattoo the other day. It’s a red triangle, which makes everyone think I’m arty, which I’m not. I used to draw red triangles all the time. It must mean something — maybe I don’t know it yet. But I’ll figure it out.” (more…)

Joss Stone has a flower and swirl tattoo behind her left ear similar to the one on her foot, though this one is uncolored. Though floral tattoo designs are common, they do have personal meaning to Joss. “Each of my tattoos holds a very special meaning for me,” she told WWD.
Leona Lewis loves horses so much that even after getting a poem about horses inked down her spine, she got a second horse-related tattoo. This one is a tiny horseshoe on the side of her left wrist.
Leona and her family spent time in the British countryside, where she developed a love for horse riding. “I have always lived in London, but never saw myself as a city girl,” she said. “We used to stay at Fontgary and I’d go horse riding down there in the countryside. I used to love it because it was somewhere free and not small confined spaces.”
