Fresh off her victory at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Ali Krieger arrived at the ESPN “Body at ESPYs” Party on July 14, 2015 wearing a plunging gown that showed off her side tattoo. It is a quote in German from author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famous book The Little Prince, which was originally written in French. Her tattoo says “Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut, das Wesentliche ist für die Augen unsichtbar” which means “One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.”
