Neon Hitch has a tattoo on the inside of her right forearm in memory of her friend Shane Dugas who died of cancer at the age of 30. She got the tattoo in April 2014 only days after his passing. It’s a black and white bumblebee with a human head smoking a cigarette. On the wings are his initials “SMD.”
She writes “My new tattoo for my bruva Shane who just passed.. And amy as his guardian angel. Healing process.” This is her second tattoo of Amy Winehouse’s name.
Neon Hitch got the words “Trailer Trash” tattooed on her right arm in June 2013. Though the phrase is commonly used as a pejorative, Neon is proud of having grown up in a trailer.
Her family are gypsies and she was raised in a caravan, traveling from place to place. As a child she was trained as a trapeze artist. Her family never had any money, and Neon has said that although it was hard being poor, “it was a beautiful lifestyle growing up and getting to see the world.” (more…)

The sky gets darker and it switches from a colored background with stars in the negative space to black stars on uncolored skin.
Maria Brink has a nature-inspired full sleeve tattoo on her right arm. From her elbow up is a dark background with butterflies, flowers, and winged fairies. Her forearm is a bright blue with skin-colored stars of varying sizes in the negative space.
