Kesha got a cat face on her left big toe in July 2013 at the same time as her “Animal” tattoo. She is a huge cat lover and has three pet cats — Mr. Peep$, Mr. Fluffy Pant$, and Charlie.
She has also jokingly formed a Cat Cult. “So I’ve always wanted to have a cult, I think I could be a pretty good cult leader,” she told E!. “So I’m going to start a cult and people can be in it if they like to be cats or play with cats or play with cat toys.” (more…)

Megan Massacre had a pink cat tattoo on her right forearm which was redone by artist Tim Kern in November 2013. He transformed it into a blue and purple skeleton/demon cat and gave it a skull-trimmed top hat.

Katy Perry has a tattoo of Hello Kitty’s head on the side of her right middle finger. The timing of the tattoo celebrates significant birthdays for both Katy and the cartoon cat. It was done on October 30th 2014, the first day of the Hello Kitty Con which celebrates the characters’s 40th anniversary — Hello Kitty’s official birthday is on November 1st. Miley Cyrus got a tattoo a yellow crying cat on her inner lip in March 2014 while on her Bangerz Tour. The ‘sad kitty’ motif first appeared at 2013 American Music Awards, where she performed her song “Wrecking Ball” in front of a video of a crying cat. Her backdrops for the Bangerz Tour featured cats and other animals which were designed by Ren & Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi. “Our whole tour is literally based on animals,” she told MTV. “His art is driving a lot of the tour.”
