Demi Lovato has been selected as a judge for the new season of The X-Factor, the show’s second season in America. She’ll be judging alongside the show’s creator Simon Cowell, Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid, and pop superstar Britney Spears.

Demi wore head-to-toe Topshop for the first day of filming. Her lime green Pacific Zip Front Dress ($120.00, sold out) gives a summery look while the Metallic Snakeskin Leather Jacket ($330.00) adds the rocker edge that Demi is known for. Ke$ha covered V Magazine’s Americana issue with American flag face paint. In her spread, she wears a modified version of the American Flag Dress by DSquared2 ($851.00) which has been covered in sequins. She completes the American feel of her outfit with cowboy boots and a western belt.

The article praises Ke$ha for being ordinary. Dr. Luke, the music producer who signed Ke$ha, explains how easy it is for fans to steal her style. “It’s tough for kids to emulate someone with twenty fashion people on staff,” he says. “Ke$ha comes out in an AC/DC T-shirt that she found in a dumpster, literally, and she rocks it. It’s sort of a metaphor for who she is. Anyone can be Ke$ha in their own way.”

On the set of a recent photoshoot, DEV wore the Steve Madden Women’s Shazzam Platform Sandal ($72.00). These shoes have a delicate black patent upper and a monstrous leopard print platform and block heel. I’m not 100% sure about the dress because I can’t see the front, but I believe it’s the Mesh Bust Panel Bodycon Dress from Topshop ($80.00).

Cher Lloyd always keeps her outfits looking fresh by mixing in pieces that are unexpected. Her black monochrome Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Core Hi sneakers ($45.00) are an odd choice for two reasons: first because a dressier outfit like this would normally be paired with heels or flats rather than sneakers and second because they are so dark compared to her otherwise springy outfit. But ultimately it keeps the outfit looking young, which is great because Cher is only 18 years old!

Cher’s blazer and skirt are both from Urban Outfitters. Her orangey red Silence & Noise Nexus Blazer ($69.00) has an interesting cutout detail in the back. She’s wearing it over a basic white tank top and the off-white Staring at Stars Crochet Mini Skirt ($49.00).
