Dev's "Booty Bounce" music video

Electro-pop singer Dev (born Devin Star Tailes) wears 26 different outfits in her music video for “Booty Bounce.” A sample from this song was used as the chorus of Far East Movement’s number 1 hit “Like a G6.”

All of the clothing is from streetwear brand Hellz Bellz, save for some American Apparel hosiery. The pieces in the video span a few years of collections, so most of them are no longer available for purchase, but I’ve managed to identify 22 of the items worn. Read full story »

Ellie Goulding in a Twiter photo

Ellie Goulding is the latest musician to hop on the SpiritHoods trend, which I talked about in my CNN.com interview. Ellie is wearing the Leopard Full Hood ($129) with hand pockets in the “paws.” For some unknown reason, this hood pairs its leopard print faux fur outer with a snakeskin-printed lining.

In this new photo by The Hundreds, Hayley Williams is wearing the Pointelle Scallop Over-the-Knee Socks from Urban Outfitters in black ($14.00).

Ellie Goulding has been wearing her blue Alice by Temperley Game Jacket for most of her current US tour, but at her April 20th concert she instead opted to wear the black version, which is $375 at Net-A-Porter.

Her top is the Truly Madly Deeply Animal Cross Tee. Ellie is wearing the more slim-fitted version which is sold at Urban Outfitters UK for £28.00, and she has cut off the sleeves and collar to make it into a tank – which you can see in this photo. Urban Outfitters US sells the same print on a loose fitting dolman tee for $38.00.

You can buy a basic pair of running shorts similar to hers at American Apparel. Her tights are House of Holland’s Chain Suspender Tights, which mimic the look of thigh-highs held up by golden garters. They sell for $28.00 at Urban Outfitters or £12.00 at Next.

Katy Perry wore these Vogue sunglasses in her E.T. music video, which features Kanye West. The glass are available in 4 colours. Katy wears Ginseng Gradient Gray.

Sierra Kusterbeck modeling for Fueled By Ramen

Sierra Kusterbeck is wearing VersaEmerge’s Crystal Necklace ($20.00) which is inspired by the crystals that the band find in their new music video for “Figure It Out.” The crystal is surrounded by a metal band with the letters “VE” in VersaEmerge’s font.

Hayley Williams at ELLE’s Women in Music Event on April 11, 2011 – PR Photos

Hayley is carrying the leopard-print calf hair clutch by Miu Miu, which is $950.

Inevitably there will be some groaning about how expensive everything Hayley wore is (though for the record, I doubt she paid for it), but I think that beneath the designer labels, this outfit is very Hayley. This clutch is like a sophisticated evening version of the Urban Outfitters leopard purse that she wore in 2009. Hayley loves to mix and match prints, sometimes a little too much, so it’s not surprising that she chose this clutch to accent an already bold dress instead of carrying something more subtle.

Black Cards singer Bebe Rexha is a big fan of SpiritHoods, the trendy faux-fur animal inspired headpieces worn by celebs like Khloe Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Ke$ha, and even Conan O’Brien.

At the Never Say Never festival in Mission, TX on March 15th, Bebe wore the Fire Wolf hood ($129) while bandmate Pete Wentz wore the Black Wolf hood. In Chicago on March 25th, Bebe performed in the NightHawk hooded shawl ($175).
