Dev backstage at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto on June 19, 2011

DEV wore jewelry from Melody Eshani at the 2011 MMVAs, where she performed “Like a G6” with far East Movement and her own song “Bass Down Low.” “Like a G6” also won the award for International Video of the Year.

Her earrings are the Raspberry Beret Swarovski Lightning Bolts ($100). On her left hand is the Chainbow Ring w/ Spike in Gunmetal ($50). On her right hand she is wearing two Leopard Swarovski 2 Finger Rings – one in yellow and one in pink ($50 each).

Dev shows off her new wallet

Dev posted this photo on her blog (devishot.com) of the Louis Vuitton wallet that she got as a gift from Cyrano of The Cataracs. She says that it’s an early birthday present, though her birthday is not until July 2nd. The wallet is the Elise Wallet in Pomme D’Amour ($700), which has Louis Vuitton’s monogram print embossed on shiny red patent leather. Dev says:

I’m not usually into bougie things, but my best friend and number one go to guy Cyrano of The Cataracs bought me this amazing wallet for my early birthday. He’s a boss and I couldn’t ask for a better person to have as a mentor and brother from another! thank youuuu golden goose!! it makes me feel so prettyy

Dev's "Booty Bounce" music video

Electro-pop singer Dev (born Devin Star Tailes) wears 26 different outfits in her music video for “Booty Bounce.” A sample from this song was used as the chorus of Far East Movement’s number 1 hit “Like a G6.”

All of the clothing is from streetwear brand Hellz Bellz, save for some American Apparel hosiery. The pieces in the video span a few years of collections, so most of them are no longer available for purchase, but I’ve managed to identify 22 of the items worn. Read full story »
