Grimes and her brothers all have matching tattoos of the triforce symbol from The Legend of Zelda, her favorite video game. Grimes’ tattoo is on her left arm just below the elbow. She explains to Bullett, “The Legend of Zelda was the first video game me and my brothers ever got, and so we all got matching Triforce tattoos.”
Grimes’ left hand has a number of DIY tattoos. She explains their meanings to Prefix Mag: “I did them all myself, I have a Greek meander that is often mistaken for a square wave on my finger (very telling of the times), an alien head because I believe in aliens, an “8” because its my lucky number and a wrist band my friend designed for me that I did in the woods in Minnesota.”
Grimes has a outline of a crescent moon on her left thumb.
On the knuckles of Grimes’ left hand, she has trios of squiggly lines in alternating directions.
Grimes has an ornate black cross on the inside of her right wrist.
Jessica Origliasso has a banner reading “The world is a mirror” on top of an antique silver mirror and a globe, with flowers and a fallen petal.
Jessica Origliasso has a pink cupcake tattooed on her arm with the words “Sweet Revenge.”

One of Jessica Origliasso’s earlier arm tattoos is this red origami heart with a banner reading “My blood is red for you.” Jess later filled in the whole banner with black ink to cover the writing.
Paloma Faith’s only tattoos are the two large birds flying on her back and shoulder.
