Chiara Ferragni tattooed an arrow on the back of her right ankle in June 2014 to represent how progress comes from struggles. She explained its inspirational message on her instagram:
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties it means it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.
Dagi Bee has a tattoo of paper airplane on the back of her left arm which she got some time in 2016. The dots symbolize that the paper airplane takes an indirect path. It shows her the way to the top and inspires her to keep pushing for her goals even when the path forwards seems difficult. The simple tattoo only took five minutes to complete.
Jana Kramer got this tattoo of an arrow on her right foot in June 2013. The arrow faces towards her toes to represent taking steps forward. “My new tattoo! Meaning for me is forward steps and no regrets! Do ya like?!?!” she wrote on her Facebook page.
Zoë Kravitz has compass arrows tattooed on the insides of both of her feet to guide her forward in the right direction. The arrow on her right foot is pointed towards her with a letter “S” on top for “South” while the left foot arrow faces forwards with am “N” for “North.”
