Lindsay Lohan has a red star tattooed on her right hand to match the stars on her then-girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s arm. “Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that,” she told Marie Claire. Lindsay got the tattoo in June 2008, at the same time that she and Samantha got matching heart tattoos.
The tiny heart on Lindsay Lohan’s left hand is a matching tattoo with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. They got the tattoos together in June 2008, but E! reports that Lindsay had the tattoo done in white ink two years earlier. Lindsay got hers done over in black while Samantha got one to match. In 2011, Samantha covered her heart with a new tattoo, but Lindsay’s is still intact.
The Arabic writing on Zoë Kravitz’s back reads “Let Love Rule.” It is slightly grammatically incorrect. One Arabic blogger writes “it uses the noun for rule instead of the verb. Which.. okay, isn’t all that awful considering the bad translations that could happen.”

The tattoo inside Christina Aguilera’s left elbow is in two languages. The red cursive words say “Te Amo Siempre,” which is Spanish for “I love you always.” Two Hebrew letters in the center represent the initials of her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
In May 2012, Cher Lloyd added two tattoos on her left wrist. On the inside of her wrist is “Craig” — the first name of her husband Craig Monk — with a red heart. Cher and Craig became engaged in January 2012 and were married in November 2013.

On the side of her left wrist, Avril Lavigne got her ex-husband Deryck Whibley’s first initial “D” in a pink heart, while Deryck got an “A” in heart in the same location for Avril. Though Avril and Deryck are now divorced, they remain good friends and Avril has not covered the tattoo.
