Tattoo artist Paul Nguyen shared this photo of the work that he did on Blac Chyna’s right side in February 2015. “Started a coverup of a coverup. Doing a lil at a time. More progress to come,” he wrote. The design includes red and blue lilies, swirling green leaves, and a monarch butterfly.
Blac Chyna got all of her previous back tattoos covered with this huge backpiece from artist Paul Nguyen in February 2015. He took the swirling design of the old tattoo and used it to form the petals of the chrysanthemum flower.
Artist Paul Nguyen covered up two old tattoos with this pair of flowers on Blac Chyna’s hip in January 2015. The pink flower covers the watermelon on her stomach while the green leaves below the purple flower hide a name on her bikini line.
In December 2014, Blac Chyna got this red ink henna-inspired tattoo on her right hand which is similar to the tribal design on her opposite hand. It covers up a tattoo of her ex-fiancé Tyga’s real name “Michael.”
Blac Chyna has many tattoos layered on her back. Artist Paul Nguyen snapped this picture in February 2015 before he covered this design with his own work. It seems that she started out with a heavy black tribal “tramp stamp” design on her lower back and Chinese writing down her spine. These were covered by the swirls and petals show here. Then the entire design was covered again by a lotus flower.
Taryn Manning has a tattoo of a retro-style boombox on her left forearm, just below her elbow. It is probably a nod to her band Boomkat. She got this tattoo to cover-up her previous “I ♡ Boys” tattoo.
Avril Lavigne covered-up the skull and crossbones tattoo on her left arm with a cupcake, though the skull is still visible through it. It’s surrounded by colorful stars and sprinkles and a Hello Kitty bow. Avril has a song called “Hello Kitty” on her 2013 self-titled album. (more…)
Jaime King has a tattoo on the side of her right hand which says “I am love.”
The tattoo has a hidden religious meaning. She first tattooed “Jesus” on the side of her hand in thin letters before covering it up with “I am love.” It seems to symbolize that Jesus’s love is under everything. Not to be forgotten, she then tattooed Jesus’ name on the side of her finger.

R&B singer Faith Evans commemorated her marriage to record label executive Todd Russaw with a tattoo on her chest that says “Faye & Todd For Ever” with a rose and heart. Unfortunately their relationship was not forever as the tattoo proclaimed, and they filed for divorce in 2011 after 14 years of marriage.
The rose itself is a cover-up of another tattoo. Looking closely, there are some black letters that can be seen through the red ink. Her original tattoo was “BIG ❤ Faye” for her husband The Notorious B.I.G., who died in 1997. She added the rose to cover-up BIG’s name, while leaving the heart and her own name visible.
She began dating Todd in 1997 while she and BIG were separated. They married in 1998 after Biggie’s death and she changed the tattoo shortly after.
Faith is still sporting Todd’s name years after the divorce and we don’t know if she has plans to ever cover or remove it. She remains in close contact with Todd as the former couple have two children together.
