Electro-pop singer Dev (born Devin Star Tailes) wears 26 different outfits in her music video for “Booty Bounce.” A sample from this song was used as the chorus of Far East Movement’s number 1 hit “Like a G6.”
All of the clothing is from streetwear brand Hellz Bellz, save for some American Apparel hosiery. The pieces in the video span a few years of collections, so most of them are no longer available for purchase, but I’ve managed to identify 22 of the items worn. Read full story »
Paramore are currently at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey. They are not performing, but the band did a signing at the Fueled By Ramen tent yesterday. Ellie Goulding is the latest musician to hop on the SpiritHoods trend, which I talked about in my CNN.com interview. Ellie is wearing the Leopard Full Hood ($129) with hand pockets in the “paws.” For some unknown reason, this hood pairs its leopard print faux fur outer with a snakeskin-printed lining.
At Jeremy Scott‘s Coachella afterparty, Hayley Williams wore Diesel’s Asthair 008PG Boyfriend jeans. Hayley’s were a gift from Diesel, but for the rest of us they are quite expensive – $160.
Hayley used to live in skinny jeans but it seems she’s been embracing baggier silhouettes lately. This is the first time I can recall seeing her in such loose denim, but she’s worn baggy trousers a few times. These pants are like a cross between jeans and sweatpants with their drawstring waist and tapered leg.

At the first night of the Let’s Be Animals Tour, headlined by The Downtown Fiction, Cady Groves wore the Ruffle Back Print Top by Black Poppy. The top is meant to have ruffles only on the back, but Cady is wearing it backwards. It is currently on clearance for $14.99 at PacSun.

Ash Costello’s Vans are solid pink on top with pink and white checkerboard on the sides. This style, pictured at left, are no longer available. Vans currently sell a lighter pink pair with checkerboard on top and solid pink on the side. They also have a brighter pink and white style, but is currently only available in children’s sizes.
