Hayley Williams in a Stussy hoodie

I’ve known for a long time that this hoodie which Hayley wore during Paramore’s fall 2006 tour was from Stussy, but I never found the exact one online. I’m quite shocked that something so old is still available, but outlet store Yoox currently has these hoodies in sizes XS and small.

Stussy Girls Hooded Sweatshirt – $79.00 [exact]

Cassadee Pope sure loves her bargains. While similar lace bodysuits sell for $38.00 at American Apparel, Cassadee’s Sheer Lace Bodysuit in Neon Pink from Forever 21 – her favorite store – is only $10.80.

Porcelain Black

Porcelain Black's "This Is What Rock N Roll Look Like" music video

In her “This Is What Rock N Roll Look Like” music video, Porcelain Black bursts into the school cafeteria wearing the leather-look Marlies Dekkers Cafe Society Padded Demi Bra with a pair of high-waisted briefs like this pair from Soma Intimates. She kicks a student wearing a pair of vertebrae boots from Dsquared‘s Fall 2010 collection. Since it’s summer, I can’t find any feathery coats like Porcelain’s that are currently available, but during the right season you can buy similar coats from stores like Topshop.

Hayley Williams in SELF magazine

In Hayley’s photoshoot for Self magazine, she wears this playful summer dress from RED Valentino. The dress has striped fabric underneath covered by layers of scalloped organza ruffles. Since it’s a designer piece, the dress is very expensive – £695 – so I’ve rounded up a bunch of similar dresses below the cut.

SELF magazine has compiled some beauty tips from Hayley along with advice from experts. They’ve listed a bunch of products that Hayley uses and included a few of their own recommendations based on her tips.

Do-No-Wrong Beauty

“I like nails that are loud and vibrant.”

Nails can be an accessory you have fun with. “My mom couldn’t get me out of the house unless I got to wear two different-colored socks,” Williams remembers. “I think of nails the same way.”

Your Mix-‘n’-Match Mani Plan

Consider your coloring. Even out-there shades should be flattering. Orange, neon pink and red enhance warm skin tones; purple, mauve or yellow work with cool, says Roxanne Valinoti, a lead nail stylist in NYC for CND. To tell, look at your veins: Greenish equals warm; blue, cool.

Give a twist to a classic. One idea is to do a French mani with a neutral base but a bold tip—pale pink with orange, pink or blue—so you get the best of both worlds.

Hayley’s Favorite Nail Colors

Williams stocks up on completely vegan Nubar Nail Lacquer, $7, especially sparkly greens such as Greener.

“I love yellow on my nails,” she says. “It complements my pale skin.” Try OPI Nail Lacquer in Need Sunglasses?, $9.

“I’m really into sea-foam green—’70s bathroom style.” We like OPI Nail Lacquer in Go on Green!, $9.

Listen-to-Me Lips

“I pick my lipstick by my mood.”

Quick Tips for Bold Lips

Play with intensity. Coral, fuchsia and red can go all-out bright or more mellow. For the latter, use a stain, not a stick—the no-wax pigment lets your natural lip color show through. Up the vibrancy by applying lipstick in the same shade on top, says Joanna Schlip, a celebrity makeup artist for Physicians Formula.

Keep the rest of your makeup natural. To make sure you don’t overdo blush, apply lipstick first. Then you can gauge exactly how much more color, if any, your face needs.

Hayley’s Favorite Lipsticks

A matte true red that doesn’t sacrifice shine, MAC lipstick in Russian Red, $15, is one of her staples.

Williams loves MAC lipstick in Fusion Pink, $15. “It’s a rad color for people who like lipsticks that pop,” she says.

During her Warped Tour last summer, the singer wore the rich purple-pink Urban Decay Lip Envy stain in Greedy, $17.

Can’t Look Away Eyes

“A cat eye is my go-to. It’s so easy!”

Lightning-Fast Liner Tricks

Create a straight line every time. Cast your gaze down and trace along your lashes (pulling lids can make an uneven line), and then slightly past the outer corner to get the little wing, Schlip says. Stick to Sharpie-like tips or gels, which draw smoothly.

Don’t be afraid to go beyond basic black. “Color is more daytime-friendly than you think, since you use such a thin line,” Schlip notes. Baby-step into color with dark versions—forest green, navy or plum—of brights you like.

Hayley’s Cat-Eye Staples

“It’s like using a marker on your eyes,” says Williams. MAC Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack, $18.

Williams wants eye makeup to last through sets—she prefers sweatproof formulas such as Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner in Navy Blue, $22.

“It stays on forever—and I love browns and golds,” she says of Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow Liners in Busy Signal, $19.

Amazingly Real Skin

“I love skin to have a no-makeup look.”

It’s hard not to be envious of Williams’s seemingly poreless complexion. But even if you need a little more coverage, you can get a flawless complexion without caking it on.

Natural-Skin Secrets

Cover up sparingly. Women use more foundation than they need, Schlip explains. Not every inch of skin requires makeup! Conceal pesky spots only: dark circles, blemishes and redness.

Put skin in the spotlight. Rub a pinky-peach cream highlighter on cheekbones to give radiance to mostly bare skin. “It makes it look lit from within,” Schlip says.

Hayley’s Favorite Skin Products

“I wear this every day!” she says of Benefit Benetint lip and cheek stain, $28.

For light coverage plus sun protection, Williams swears by Tarte Smooth Operator Natural Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20, $36.

Williams protects her skin with Peter Thomas Roth SPF 45 mineral powder, $30

Radiant Hair Color

“The healthier my hair, the better it looks.”

Smart Shine Savers

Shield your hair. The sun is a dye job’s biggest shine stealer. UV rays oxidize pigment and quickly make color dull and brassy, says Marie Robinson, owner of Marie Robinson salon in NYC. Spray on leave-in conditioner with UV blockers to lock in color.

Get a trim before a touch-up. Because ends are older than the hair near your roots, they’re also the most damaged and dull. Cutting off that bottom inch can make your hair look like you just got it dyed, Robinson says.

Hayley’s Favorite Hair Helpers

Her healthy-hair secret: Moroccanoil Oil Treatment, $32. “I put it in my hair, and then let it air-dry.”

Williams’s ponytail must: rainbow-colored Emi-Jay hair ties, $11 for five. “They don’t break my hair.”
