Avril Lavigne wearing Abbey Dawn clothes
On of the major staples in Avril Lavigne’s wardrobe, along with Converse sneakers and Dr. Martens boots, are the t-shirts and hoodies from her own clothing line Abbey Dawn. Abbey Dawn was formerly sold in Kohl’s department stores and is now sold primarily online at AbbeyDawn.com as well as in select boutiques.
The brand was featured in Avril’s new music video for “What The Hell,” where Avril goes into a store and snags a What The Hell t-shirt (the WTH V-Neck Slouch S/S Tee – $ 25.00) from an Abbey Dawn display, leaving her boyfriend to pay, and then meets up with a band wearing tees from the mens’ line.
Avril’s also been wearing pieces from the line at all sort of events and appearances. I think it’s great that she genuinely loves the clothes so much rather than just slapping her name on a line like some other celebrities do.
Most recently Avril wore the Pink What The Hell Tee while performing at the Italian Song Festival in San Remo, Italy on February 19th. On the 16th she wore the Ziggy Skull Acid Wash Pullover while leaving her hotel in London. On the 9th she wore a dress sewn from the Gold Foil WTH Basic Tee while performing on Victoires de la Musique. Back in December Avril wore this t-shirt with Juicy couture leggings and Dr Martens.
Avril wore the multicolored Crazy Daze Crossover Sleeve Tee at listening party for Goodbye Lullaby in Tokyo, Japan on January 24th. Later on her trip she wore the Totally Pladical 3/4 Raglan Tee while appearing on NHK Music Japan.
At LAX in Los Angeles on January 15th, Avril wore the red foil Metal Heart Burnout Zip Hoody. To promote the new Abbey Dawn website, Avril made a video message wearing the leopard-lined Blast from the Past BFH Zip Hoody.

update: I’m bumping this post up to the top since I found Hayley’s exact cardigan. It’s the Mossimo Supply Co. Juniors Cardigan Sweater in Aqua Heather from Target, and it’s only $17.99.
original post (2/15/11): Hayley Williams was photographed at LAX Airport in Los Angeles yesterday departing for Brazil, where Paramore will begin their South American tour tomorrow night. I haven’t found Hayley’s exact cardigan (which is a crew-neck), but if you just like the mint green color, you can get similar cardigans at H&M or Forever21. H&M’s is £9.99 in the UK webstore, so probably around $19.99 in US shops; while Forever21’s is $19.80.

At Paramore’s concert in Rio de Janeiro yesterday (view photos), Hayley Williams wore this top which she customized from an American Apparel Tri-Blend Racerback Tank in Tri-Evergreen ($19.00). On the front she wrote B.O.Y in sharpie and added a jagged line of stitching. The three black bars on the back are an adaptation of the band Black Flag’s logo. Their logo has four bars, but Hayley changed it to three to represent Taylor, Jeremy, and herself. She’s also written “Beware of You” three times, which is perhaps another reference to the three members.

Supre Cross Printed Loose Fit Singlet – $7.50 [exact/sold out]
Bardot Katia Jeans – $139.95 [exact brand]

Hayley wore another Jeremy Scott piece – this time it’s a “No Sale Is Ever Final” screen-printed t-shirt from his Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The top appeared on the runway in black as an oversized t-shirt dress and in white as a men’s tank top, worn with….leather chaps. Huh? While there’s nothing wrong with this tee, the collection was very hit or miss, and mostly misses in my opinion. You can check it out at JeremyScott.com.

Taylor Momsen out in Los Angeles, CA on February 11, 2011 = photo: Matt Symons, PacificCoastNews.com
Taylor Momsen wore a Rob Zombie tee which was made into a dress while at The Grove in Los Angeles on February 11, where she chatted with Extra. Unlike some of her other diy t-shirts which just have the sleeves cut off, this one was sewn into a trapeze mini dress with red rope straps. Underneath, Taylor wore printed maroon tights with black fishnet thigh high stockings on top, and sky-high stiletto platform lace-up boots. I haven’t identified Taylor’s exact shoes, but Pleaser, the brand which makes most of Taylor’s stage shoes, sells a similar pair. Her accessories were minimal: a chunky black cross necklace and oversized black sunglasses.
Rob Zombie 25 Years T-shirt – $19.95 [exact – reconstructed] (more stores)
Pleaser Delight-1020 5.75 Inch Lace-Up Platform Ankle Boot Side Zip Boots – $109.99 [similar]
