Sierra Kusterbeck: Two-Tone Wayfarers

photo posted by Billie Francis on yfrog

The closest sunglasses that I’ve found to Sierra Kusterbeck’s blue and black two-tone wayfarers are from 80’s Purple ($10.00), though they only appear on an alternate version of the website which looks messed up on my computer so…I’m not sure what going there. Forever 21 sells the same style in white/black and red/black for only $3.50.

DEV: Chain Sunglasses

DEV October 2009 photoshoot by gotchapix

Back in October 2009, DEV had a photoshoot with Drop Doctors on the set of “Fireball” music video wearing the A-Morir Love/Hate Convertible Chain Sunglasses ($250.00). A-Morir’s hand-crafted sunglasses, the work of designer Kerin Rose, have been popularized by celebrities like Rihanna and Lady Gaga which has spurned a number of inexpensive knock-offs. You can get a pair of “Celebrity Style” chain sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse for only $15.95.

DEV also wears the Damaged Deconstructed Cardigan Dress from Hellz Bellz, which is sold out. Check out pictures below:

  1. 50s Blue Rhinestone Cat Eye Sunglasses – $5.99 at Just For Costumes
  2. Tiffany Blue Frenchy Cateye Sunglasses – $12.00 at Unique Vintage
  3. 50’s Cateye Rhinestone Glasses Adult – $6.95 at Hip Hop 50s Shop

Selena Gomez Hit The Lights

Selena Gomez in her "Hit The Lights" music video

The first pair of sunglasses which Selena Gomez wears in her new music video for “Hit The Lights” are a playful blue floral print with a slight cat eye shape. Hers look most like the UO Floral Cat Eye Sunglasses from Urban Outfitters (possibly the exact ones?). They are sold out at Urban Outfitters but can be purchased on eBay for $14.99. You can also pick up a similar pair by Full Tilt at Tilly’s for $9.99 with a black floral print.

Later in the video, she dances in a pair of two-tone pink and yellow plastic wayfarers. I haven’t been able to find this same color combo, but you can find many similar pairs for under $10.

photos from Natalia Kills' twitter

Natalia Kills is a big fan of the sunglasses designed by Jeremy Scott for Linda Farrow, wearing two different pairs in her “Free” music video. The first are the silver “Smile C1” ($259.61) which have metal flip-ups of smiley faces with crosses for eyes. Next are the “Wings” glasses reflecting the wings motif used by Jeremy Scott is his Adidas collections. Natalia wears the white “Wings C2” ($313.83) in the “Free” video and wore the black “Wings C1” ($313.83) in a TwitPic.
