Taylor Momsen may wear ripped tees most days, but she proved that she can still look elegant when she wants to at Marchesa’s Fall 2012 fashion show. Taylor wore a blue lace Marchesa dress with a sheer chest and sleeves and a turtleneck collar. You can get Taylor’s look for less with the Lace Dress from Victoria’s Secret ($79.50), which comes in both black and blue.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t been as much of a fan of Taylor Momsen’s style since she ventured into gothic stripper territory. I loved her looks in 2008 and 2009 when she had just a little bit of rocker edge. But Taylor cleaned herself up for fashion week and I have to say that I love this dress on her! It’s still goth but it’s not lingerie or fetish wear — it’s actual clothes from a “normal” store. Sure it is meant to be a tank and she’s wearing it as a dress, but it’s long enough that I can’t even fault her for that. One of the things that I love about Cher Lloyd’s fashion sense is how she’s able to fuse together so many different styles — not many girls would wear loafers and a hoodie in the same outfit! While her look in the X-Factor days was much more street, she’s been able to mature and dress up her style while still mixing in elements of her casual fashion.

Cher’s dress is the Motel Maybelle Bodycon Dress in Black and White New Check, available for £38.00 at Topshop or Motel Rocks. This dress has a playful print with a retro, 60s-inspired shape and contrasting black collar. Her Topshop Lurex Zip Hoody (£30.00) has metallic fibers for a silver glittery look.

Though I’m not sure where Cher got her tights or shoes, I’ve found similar items. These Dark Beige Chain Loafers from River Island (£30.00) are a bit lighter in color than Cher’s burgundy pair but have the same thin-soled silhouette and gold chain detail. Copy her sheer polka dot hosiery with John Lewis’ Spot Tights (£8.00).

Sherri DuPree-Bemis is wearing the I Heart Zombie Unicorns Dress by Hell Bunny ($52.00). The dress mixes cutesy and grotesque with its pink and green cartoon print of eyeballs, skulls, poison bottles, teddy bears and of course zombie unicorns.

Cher Lloyd is wearing The Jen Dress in Wine and Black from Motel. This dress is color blocked with some interesting shaped that give it a futuristic look. Cher’s dress has black mesh sleeves, but they also make a strapless version.

Back in December, Katy Perry appeared on the red carpet in an off-white leather dress with a design made of gold studs in varying shapes and sizes. Her exact Geometric-Studded Leather Dress from the Versace Spring 2012 runway collection is available at Neiman Marcus for $7,925.

Fortunately there’s a much cheaper option: for $70.00, roughly one percent of the cost of Katy’s dress, you can get the Studded Shift Dress from Goddiva. Pair it with Michael Antonio “LoveMe” Metallic pumps for $39.99 to complete the Katy Perry look on a budget.

Natalia Kills is wearing the Padded One-Shoulder Glitter Dress by Brian Lichtenberg. I haven’t been able to find the blue color in stock anywhere, but you can find this dress in many other colors in Brian Lichtenberg’s store or at Alex and Chloe. You can get the look for less with glittery one shoulder dresses from Goddiva ($52.00) or ASOS ($80.57). ASOS has actually stocked an extremely similar dress in the past, but that one is now sold out.

Cher Lloyd appeared for an interview on ITV’s Daybreak wearing the Oldchalk Kaftan Dress from Your Eyes Lie ($56.00). On her dress are some pink embroidered heart badges from Grace DuPrez. These badges are not available online, but the heart rings are only £4.00.

Cher accessorizes with bright pink tights. Normally I love crazy tights, but something is a bit off for me here. I think colored tights look better with a flared skirt or a super-short mini. Overall though I think this is a cute outfit, very playful but with a hint of sophistication.

I don’t know where Cher got her exact tights, but you can pick up similar pairs for only a few pounds from Topshop (pictured), Forever 21, Pretty Polly, or Hue. Get a similar pair of boots from £20.00 at Boohoo.
