Rita wears edgy pieces with lots of spikes and studs in her ASOS magazine shoot. Rita wore an ASOS Army Camo Jacket With Detachable Fur Trim Collar ($102.18), an embellished unitard, Rita’s own sneakers and a pair of ASOS Premium Knicker Shorts with Floral Embellishment ($76.64).

Rita went for a preppy style for this outfit. She wore a J.W. Anderson Womens Braided Cable Sweater (€613.12), an ASOS Mini Skirt In Metallic Jacquard ($59.61) and a pair of Irregular Choice Big Momma Boots (£139.00).

Sierra Kusterbeck is wearing the UNIF Americana Denim Jacket, $169.00 at Urban Outfitters. The jacket has a destroyed look with cut-off sleeves and hem and ripped spots all over. One shoulder is covered in spikes and there’s a large American flag patch covering the back.

For Demi Lovato’s X-Factor bootcamp taping, she wore the same Topshop MOTO Shoulder Spike Jacket (sold out) that she wore on Good Morning America, but styled it very differently. The most obvious change is her retro-inspired updo, tied with the Red Polkadot Snood ($32.00). And then there’s the color palette — while Demi often like to wear a lot of black, this outfit is more toned down with a white dress and nude pumps.

This is another head-to-toe Topshop outfit for Demi. She wears the Lace Corset Flippy Tunic Dress ($64.00) with CJG Back Zip Peeptoe Court Shoes ($230.00). Her attention-grabbing 90’s Metal Insert Round Sunglasses ($32.00) are only available in pink and green at the moment.

This outfit from Demi Lovato’s SELF magazine spread is very American Western. Her BDG American Dreams Denim Jacket from Urban Outfitters ($69.00) has American flag patches on the back and shoulders while her True Religion Brand Jeans ‘Keira’ Cutoff Shorts ($150.00) have western-style flap pockets. She adds in some accents of Native American style with her bracelet and belt with woven back.

Demi Lovato’s Good Morning America performance look was all about studs. She wore a denim jacket with spiked shoulders, lace bustier with studded cups, and studded combat boots. Is it a stud overload, or does she rock it?

You can buy her exact MOTO Shoulder Spike Jacket for $120.00 at Topshop. The closest matches that I’ve found to her top and skirt are the Reverse Lace Grommet Bustier ($48.00) and Naven Biker Skirt ($154.00).

If you don’t mind adding your own studs and spikes, you can get the look on a budget with pieces from Forever 21, American Apparel, and Dollhouse.

This outfit which Rihanna wore to a nightclub is a mix of sexiness and “don’t mess with me” attitude. She wore a Sleeveless Denim Jacket from Maison Martin Margiela ($989.00) with a camoflauge hat, leather bralet, and Topshop American flag shorts.

Rihanna’s exact pair of Dark Denim Flag Print Hotpants are sold out, but Topshop have two similar pairs in stock at the moment. You can also get a cheaper pair of flag shorts from PacSun and if you’re feeling creative, you can make your own with some fabric dye and paint.

Juliet Simms wore this denim jacket with gray sweatshirt sleeves and a hood during Automatic Loveletter’s tour with Valencia back in Fall 2010. I’m not sure where she got her exact jacket, but I’ve found a few similar ones:

Kreayshawn appeared at a party in a denim jacket and jeans, a look described by the slang term “Canadian tuxedo.” Does she pull it off, or is denim-on-denim always a faux pas?

Her Denim Bomber Jacket ($98.00, click “Stussy”) is from the Stussy x Made Me “S+M” collaboration. Her jeans are from Hollister and though I’m not enitrely sure which pair she’s wearing I think it’s the Hollister Jegging in Dark Wash ($39.50). She’s wearing a pair of Chloë Sevigny for O.C. Platform Sneakers which sell for $265.00 at Opening Ceremony, or La Garçonne, or Forward, but you can actually get a very similar pair for only $53.72 at ASOS. She tops it all off with the Insane Playboys Beanie from SSUR ($20.00).

The lace and acid wash denim jacket that Cher Lloyd wears in her new “Want U Back” music video is a vintage piece from Stefano International, available for £65.00 from Girl Gang. Underneath the jacket is a Heart Crop Tee from Topshop which she also wears in the bathtub scenes. This tee is unfortunately sold out, but you can buy a similar crop top with a black heart for £9.99 at H&M. Her vertical striped mini skirt looks like it might be the Beetlejuice Skirt from Black Milk (£40.83), though I can’t tell for sure. You can also get a similar skirt for only £12.99 at H&M.

Cher matches the black and white striped skirt with the striped AMPH Wedge Boots from Shiekh Shoes ($49.97). You can see her Cartoon Eyes Pair of Rings from Tatty Devine (£30.00) during the movie theater scene. Her red acrylic doorknocker earrings are the Amanda Earrings from Girl Gang (£15.00).

Tay Jardine’s Empyre Girl Resolve Denim Jacket ($64.95) combines a gray hoodie and a denim jacket into one. The hoodie portion has a full zipper beneath the buttons of the jacket and the hood can be worn up like Tay has it.
