There is strength in vulnerability. Losing my dad is the first loss I've ever experienced. Idk if I'm dealing with it "the right way", (ps- there's NO "RIGHT WAY"!) but I'm working toward being at peace, feeling my feelings, and honoring his life. Also, being aware of the fact that addiction courses through my veins and I'm not immune to or above it. Spending time by myself when I can and throwing all my emotions into every song is healing and helpful. Oftentimes I don't know what is appropriate to share publicly vs keep to myself, growing up the way I did.
