JoJo got two triangular symbols tattooed on her knuckles in July 2014. On her left ring finger is a triangle with a little dot above it, though the dot and the tip of the triangle wore off almost immediately. She wrote in an instagram comment “the triangle w the circle means ‘learn’.” This is not a common symbol, but rather it comes from a set of glyphs created by designer/illustrator duo Nathan Strandberd and Katie Kirk of the firm Eight Hour Day.
This design of a triangle with a line through it is best known as the alchemical symbol for “air,” however JoJo’s finger tattoo seems to have a different personal meaning. JoJo had this tattoo on her index finger done in July 2014 at the same time as another triangle on her opposite ring finger. Both symbols come from an obscure a set of glyphs created by designer/illustrator duo Nathan Strandberd and Katie Kirk, according to which this triangle with a line means “transcend.”

Bunny Meyer has a tattoo on her right index finger which is identical to Johhny Depp’s knuckle tattoo. “I have always been a big Johnny Depp fan,” she explained in a video. “Ever since I was little I saw this tattoo on his finger. I’ve always loved it. Three is a lucky number for me.” She has had this tattoo since April 2011.
Having a “copied” tattoo is somewhat controversial but Bunny says “I know that some people are going to think this is stupid. But I didn’t get this tattoo for other people, I got it for myself…It’s something I’ve always wanted and something I’ve always loved. I don’t regret it. I love it.”
She likes it’s placement on her knuckle because “it’s like permanent jewelry. It’s like a ring that I never have to take off.”
Megan Massacre got this tattoo on her thumb with her friends in the band Motionless In White. She appeared in their music video for “Creatures” and traveled with them on the 2011 Warped Tour. They all got these tattoos together in August 2011. The letters “W C” stand for “Wing Crew”
She told Metal Hammer “I have this little symbol that actually comes from one of my best friends’ band, Motionless In White. They’re from the same place I’m from, so I’m really good friends with those guys. I tattooed all of them, so at the end of the tour, I got them to tattoo me! It looks like crap because none of them now how to tattoo, but I love it!”
Megan Massacre has spiderweb tattoos on all 10 fingers, which she got from artist Pastor in December 2009.
