We don’t normally see DEV carrying a purse, but she showed up at an event with a bag from her favorite clothing line Hellz Bellz’s collaboration with handbag designer Mata Hari. This quilted leather bucket bag has spikes on the bottom and a chain strap, but the coolest part to me is the ruffled and spiked leather detail that sits on the shoulder. Rihanna performed on Day 3 of Coachella 2012 in a “Peace” sports bra and studded denim shorts. Her Topshop Peace Bralet is sold out, but you can still buy the “Belief” version for $24.00. Her shorts are the Ltd. Edition Studded Shorts by The Ragged Priest (£95.00), which are also carried at Topshop stores. Each pair of shorts are vintage Levi’s which are custom studded.

Ash Costello's photoshoot for Lip Service
The latest episode of Ash Costello “Rockonista” web series takes us shopping with her at Lip Service’s Los Angeles warehouse. Lip Service has lines catered to many different alternative subcultures including lolita, cyber, and industrial clothing; but most of Ash’s picks come from the “Black Steam” collection of Victorian steampunk-inspired clothes.
Ash explains this outfit:
It’s very steampunk-inspired. Steampunk has been around for a while kind of in the underground, and I feel like right now it’s just starting to make it into the mainstream. Lip Service has really found a creative way to take steampunk in everyday wear — something you could wear to school, or to clubs, concerts, DisneyLand like I would. And I love it. I love that [the skirt] has the key detail, it’s very steampunk, and the brown distressed leather. This is something that I would wear all the time. And to top it all off I have my Sideshow by the Sea necklace. I love bats and anything gothy and dark like that is just awesome to me. So it pulls the whole thing together.
