Cher Lloyd seems to have developed a liking for jumpsuits – she’s worn three in the past month. She has worn jumpsuits in the past, but they’ve been loose fitting and casual while these ones are much sexier.
At the Brit Awards on February 21st, she wore a fuschia sequined jumpsuit from designer Hasan Hejazi’s Autumn/Winter 2010/2011 collection with a pair of pink Asteroid 160mm pumps from Christian Louboutin ($1,595).
She’s worn two catsuits from Alice Vandy: a comic book print for her performance at G.A.Y nightclub on February 18th and a metallic gold short-sleeved look for Fabulous magazine. Though these are both custom pieces, Vandy has an online shop where she sells bodysuits and leggings for £45 to £195.
Cher Lloyd appeared for an interview on ITV’s Daybreak wearing the Oldchalk Kaftan Dress from Your Eyes Lie ($56.00). On her dress are some pink embroidered heart badges from Grace DuPrez. These badges are not available online, but the heart rings are only £4.00.
Cher accessorizes with bright pink tights. Normally I love crazy tights, but something is a bit off for me here. I think colored tights look better with a flared skirt or a super-short mini. Overall though I think this is a cute outfit, very playful but with a hint of sophistication.
I don’t know where Cher got her exact tights, but you can pick up similar pairs for only a few pounds from Topshop (pictured), Forever 21, Pretty Polly, or Hue. Get a similar pair of boots from £20.00 at Boohoo.
Cher Lloyd was spotted in London yesterday wearing the Cream and Red Heart Long Sleeve Jumper from Quiz Clothing (£29.99). This graphic sweater has a furry texture — looks cozy!
Cher Lloyd is know for her wild style, but these shoes are crazy! The wedge-meets-sneaker is odd enough, but not something that hasn’t been done by other brands like Ash and Adidas. What really sets these wedges apart is color combo of leopard print, silver glitter, and hot pink. Personally it’s all too much for me, but if you think you can rock Cher’s style, you can pick up the “Lulu” Jungle Lace-Up Fashion Sneaker by ZiGi for £70.00 at Schuh or $89.95 at Endless.com.
Cher Lloyd’s “Want U Back” music video opens with a shot of her Prince Glitter Ankle Boots by Schuh (£90.00) lying on her bedroom floor. The sparkly boots are colored in multi-color glitter and have a shiny metallic gold stiletto heel.
Cher matches the black and white striped skirt with the striped AMPH Wedge Boots from Shiekh Shoes ($49.97). You can see her Cartoon Eyes Pair of Rings from Tatty Devine (£30.00) during the movie theater scene. Her red acrylic doorknocker earrings are the Amanda Earrings from Girl Gang (£15.00).
Cher Lloyd goes for a bold and graphic look on her “Want U Back” album cover with the “Delta Force” printed t-shirt from Horace. She’s tied the oversized tee in a knot at her waist to turn it into a crop top. Her necklace is the pirate-inspired Aarrghhhh Necklace from Tatty Devine (£45.00), which has each letter dangling from a gold chain.
Special thanks to stylist Alexis Knox for sharing the items used in this shoot.
Cher Lloyd goes for a spunky, youthful look on the cover of her debut album Sticks + Stones, due out on November 7, 2011. She wears a short sleeve cropped open knit sweater with green shorts, American Apparel Sheer Luxe Punctuation Pantyhose ($25.00), and Dr. Martens 1460 Boots ($115.00)
Cher Lloyd is known her her fun and playful style, but this look is all about the accessories: her brightly colored geometric Red or Dead Ettore Multi Boots and her 80’s-inspired plastic charm necklace, much like the Multi Gumball Junk Charm Necklace from Punky Pins (£18.00). She wears a leather blazer over a black and white striped American Apparel Cotton Spandex Jersey Strapless Ruched Bodysuit ($26.00) and grey tie-dye Diesel “Jegonfire” jeggings ($250 at Diesel or $175 at Zappos).
