Kerli visits Seventeen magazine

Kerli visits Seventeen magazine

Singer-songwriter Kerli wears a pastel interpretation of cyber-goth style which she has dubbed “Bubblegoth.” She says:

I call my style “Bubblegoth” because I get a lot of inspiration from super Lolita very sweet things but also very hard things. Our slogan says “make dark things beautiful and beautiful things dark”. We just put together things that don’t really go together, so it’s always like the twisted babydoll or the really cute dominatrix. It always very extremes together.

Here she wears the strappy fishnet Transformer Top from punk brand Lip Service with a zippered micro mini skirt and black and white diamond tights from Leg Avenue. She’s rocking some extreme platform boots that remind me of a wedding cake with their layers of pearls and lace. She goes for sweet accessories – a teddy bear purse and white lace gloves.

Cassadee Pope in Betsey Johnson

from the Buzznet blog 'Cassadee Pope Fashion Inspiration: Maui Melon Mint'

Cassadee Pope is wearing a dress and ring from Betsey Johnson. Cassadee has mentioned before that Betsey Johnson is her favorite designer, but this is the first time that I’ve seen her wear a Betsey Johnson dress. She is wearing the Liberty Floral Cotton Bubble Dress ($134). Her pink polka dot heart ring is sold out, but you can find a bunch on eBay for around $30. Cassadee also owns the matching necklace.

Natalia Kills

from Natalia Kills' twitter

Natalia Kills is wearing the tattered ‘Total Hate’ Cutoff Tee by UNIF, which is $34.00 at Nasty Gal. The British pop singer is known for the dark style of both her music and her clothing. She wears lots of black and white clothes and when she’s not wearing fun sunglasses, she opts for heavy black winged eyeshadow. Her debut album Perfectionist was just released in the US this past Tuesday.

DEV modeling for Fly Society

DEV modeling for Fly Society

DEV is wearing Fly Society’s LBC T-Shirt ($26.50 at PacSun). The phrase “So Much Drama in the LBC” is a line from the Snoop Dogg song “Gin and Juice.” Fly Society writes:

The famous rap promo tee. Way before downloading destroyed promo, record labels’ budget for rap albums always included promo tees with a hook or catchphrase in bold white letters from the album they were promoting. These things were rampant in the streets all the way up until recent times. They have now gone the way of the dinosaur kinda like Pen & Pixel album covers…
Take it back to ’94, and grab this t-shirt and more exclusively at PacSun.
