I was literally about to buy these when I stopped myself and said that $375 is WAY too much money to spend on a pair of SLIPPERS!! But she wears them in the Playing God video too.

I agree, shit ton of money for slippers, but they are cute.
Even if she got these for free or not, she works hard for her money and I’m sure $325 isn’t much for her anyways, haha. She dresses for herself, and if she thinks designer clothes are worth the money, then that’s fine by me! She dresses for herself, not for her fans so they can go out and buy whatever she has :P That last line was kind of confusing, but hopefully someone gets what I’m saying haha.

I mean it’s not about her clothes. Everybody must be himself without cloning somebody else. This got nothing to do with the price of Hayleys clothes. Hayley shows me that behind these celebrity mask is something real. It’s not medias res it has happened step by step. Start at 1 instead of getting desperate at 8. By buying that clothes you just give the power over yourself to other people who you can see send hayley a gift with green shoes for hundreds of dollar and you buy it. Stop that, so everybody has the chance to be himself.
I love this site too, I can’t imagine live without it but just to inspire me. It’s a guard.

i’m 99% sure that majority of the expensive stuff is given to her. they know that websites like this exist so they give it to her as advertising.
Plus she’s always thanking the people that give her stuff on her twitter and tumblr. Honestly I think she’s really naive about it and just thinks, “they gave me something, that was really nice of them, I should do something nice in return” not realizing that that’s often the only reason they gave it to her in the first place.
possibly, that’s a good point, but i guess it could go both ways – either she’s just trying to be nice or she knows that’s what she’s supposed to do. oh well. it’s not like i need to buy everything she has haha.
