Avril Lavigne presented her Abbey Dawn clothing line at the Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin last summer wearing this outfit from the spring 2012 collection. Avril wore a blue foil version of the safety pin Breakdown Fashion Tee ($35.00) with the White Flag Leggings (£39.99) featuring a grungy black and white version of the American flag punked up with zippers and a detachable bondage strap. She accessorized with the studded thong All Things Nice Flat Sandal ($30.00) and Starstruck Sunglasses ($25.00).

Avril Lavigne was spotted in the Toronto Airport wearing the Union Jacked Tee from her own Abbey Dawn clothing line ($25.00). This tee has “AD” for Abbey Dawn written in safety pins over a graphic of the British flag. Avril loves safety pins and actually has one tattooed on her neck.

The real question is: what is up with that hair? To put it politely, I’m not a fan. I’m hoping it’s just black clip-on bangs and not something that she plans on keeping.

Avril Lavigne moccasin outfit

Having own fashion line sure has its perks – one of those being that you get to wear your own clothes long before anyone else. For months Avril Lavigne has been wearing shoes from her yet-to-be-released Abbey Dawn shoe collection, but now some of the items that she wore earlier in 2011 are finally available. Pictured here is the What the Hell Hoodie ($18.98) and the Sailors Beware Rock Tee ($27.50) which has a cute heart anchor graphic. This tee is one of many nautical-themed items in the most recent Abbey Dawn collection. Her beaded black moccasins are the Minnetonka Thunderbird Softsole ($39.00). Her jeans have a really gorgeous wash, but I can’t find them or anything quite like it. The closest I found are Bleached Cargo Jeans from ASOS ($152.19).

Avril Lavigne and her band

photo from Avril's twitter

Avril Lavigne and her band are wearing the ‘R.O.C.K.S.’ Tee ($24.95) in support of The Avril Lavigne Foundation. Avril started the foundation in 2010 to supports children and youth living with a serious illness or disability. ‘R.O.C.K.S.’ is an acronym for the foundation’s mission of Respect, Opportunity, Choices, Knowledge, and Strength.

The shirt was sold on the Black Star Tour in Canada and online in Avril’s merch store, with 100% of the net proceeds going to The Avril Lavigne Foundation. Avril says: “I’m pretty excited about these because they look cool. We made it into a tank top for me for my stage outfit, and my band are gonna wear them. There’s a lot of t-shirts and cool stuff being sold in merch, but I definitely wanted to make one key piece that was for my foundation.”

Avril Lavigne wearing Abbey Dawn clothes

On of the major staples in Avril Lavigne’s wardrobe, along with Converse sneakers and Dr. Martens boots, are the t-shirts and hoodies from her own clothing line Abbey Dawn. Abbey Dawn was formerly sold in Kohl’s department stores and is now sold primarily online at AbbeyDawn.com as well as in select boutiques.

The brand was featured in Avril’s new music video for “What The Hell,” where Avril goes into a store and snags a What The Hell t-shirt (the WTH V-Neck Slouch S/S Tee – $ 25.00) from an Abbey Dawn display, leaving her boyfriend to pay, and then meets up with a band wearing tees from the mens’ line.

Avril’s also been wearing pieces from the line at all sort of events and appearances. I think it’s great that she genuinely loves the clothes so much rather than just slapping her name on a line like some other celebrities do.

Most recently Avril wore the Pink What The Hell Tee while performing at the Italian Song Festival in San Remo, Italy on February 19th.  On the 16th she wore the Ziggy Skull Acid Wash Pullover while leaving her hotel in London.  On the 9th she wore a dress sewn from the Gold Foil WTH Basic Tee while performing on Victoires de la Musique. Back in December Avril wore this t-shirt with Juicy couture leggings and Dr Martens.

Avril wore the multicolored Crazy Daze Crossover Sleeve Tee at listening party for Goodbye Lullaby in Tokyo, Japan on January 24th.  Later on her trip she wore the Totally Pladical 3/4 Raglan Tee while appearing on NHK Music Japan.

At LAX in Los Angeles on January 15th, Avril wore the red foil Metal Heart Burnout Zip Hoody. To promote the new Abbey Dawn website, Avril made a video message wearing the leopard-lined Blast from the Past BFH Zip Hoody.
