Rihanna performed on Day 3 of Coachella 2012 in a “Peace” sports bra and studded denim shorts. Her Topshop Peace Bralet is sold out, but you can still buy the “Belief” version for $24.00. Her shorts are the Ltd. Edition Studded Shorts by The Ragged Priest (£95.00), which are also carried at Topshop stores. Each pair of shorts are vintage Levi’s which are custom studded.
During her performance, Rihanna also donned a BOY London Boy Snap Back Cap, available at Patricia Field.

Cher Lloyd performed her first show ever in America wearing red white and blue, the colors of both her native Great Britain and the United States. We asked Cher in our exclusive interview whether her outfit was meant to be pro-Britain or pro-America and she said that it was “a bit of both.” Though she’s carrying a Union Jack handkerchief in her pocket “to let everyone know I’m British,” her blue crop top and red shorts are definitely more on the American side as they come from made-in-the-USA brand American Apparel. Cassadee Pope for Hot Topic
Cassadee Pope is part of Hot Topic’s latest “Rock Our Shorts” promotion, appearing in a video and in photos on the site. Oddly enough I don’t see shorts like hers on the site — it might be the LOVEsick Blue Acid Wash Distressed Cut-Off Short Shorts ($24.50) with the cuffs rolled down. I did however find her tights, which are the Black Leopard Fishnet Tights ($10.00).

Taking center stage for DEV’s performance at the mtvU Woodie Awards Festival are her golden yellow Leather Shorts by Emma Cook ($530.00). Her black and white platform oxford Jeffrey Campbell “Warning” shoes ($160.00) have a creeper-style woven toe detail and etched silver buckles. You can get a sheer blouse like DEV’s with the Chiffon Oversized Button-Up from American Apparel ($58.00). I think her exact necklace is the Hammered Collar Necklace from Nasty Gal ($20.00, sold out), but you can get similar necklaces from Nordstrom or Nasty Gal.

Ellie Goulding performed in a pair of “Harriet” leather shorts from TBA (To Be Adorned). These shorts have a belted, paper bag style gathered waist. They are from the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and the black pair are no longer available, but if you head over to ilovetba.com, you can still buy these in Gold, Tan, and Studded for £135 to £200.

Sleigh Bells' "Comeback Kid" music video
Alexis Krauss rocks some awesome custom clothes in Sleigh Bells’ music video for “Comeback Kid,” the fist single from their newly released album Reign of Terror. Her studded leather jacket is from East Village vintage punk shop Search & Destroy. Her denim shorts were made by Bambi and Manson from a pair of vintage Levi’s that have been cut-off, slashed, bleached, and dyed. You can order your own custom-made “Scarlets” for £50.00. Pick up a similar skinny pink metallic belt from ASOS for $3.58.

Miley Cyrus’ look is very on-trend with two things we’ve being seeing a lot of lately: illusion tights and destroyed shorts. She wears the Chain Suspender Tights by House of Holland for Pretty Polly ($24.42) with Urban Renewal Destroyed Studded Shorts from Urban Outfitters ($79.00).
Her tee has a drawing of a smoking baby from the cover of Van Halen’s album 1984. You can get a similar Van Halen t-shirt for $17.99. Complete the look with an olive green military jacket like this Drawstring Cargo Jacket from Forever 21 ($29.80) and riding boots like the Jessica Simpson Pepper ($44.75).

Porcelain Black performs during Lil Wayne’s I Am Still Music Tour – PR Photos
Porcelain Black owns at least four bras from Marlies Dekkers, known for the creative use of straps as a design element, and she wears them both as tops for performances and under dresses as an extra decorative element. This one is the Beautiful Bat Black Padded Plunge Balcony Bra ($160.00). She typically pairs her bra tops with high-waisted hotpants, but these mega-tall shorts go above her natural waist and almost up to the bra. These Lillian Girdle Shorts are from latex designer Abigail Greydanus, who designed the black and white catsuit that Porcelain wears in her “This Is What Rock N Roll Looks Like” music video as well as many of Katy Perry‘s latex dresses.
