Dev’s leopard house coat is actually vintage piece, but UNIF makes a similar Leopard Maxi Dress which you can buy at Nasty Gal for $128.00. Dev named this as one of her “5 Things I Can’t Live Without” for AOL StyleList. She says: “My long vintage leopard chiffon. I can’t leave my house without this. I throw it over leggings, jeans, bathing suits; it makes everything feel pretty and feminine.”
DEV’s music video for her next single “Take Her From You” hasn’t been officially released yet, but I caught a glimpse of a leaked version before it was taken down and identified her jewelry. She wears the Evol Heist Bone Ring (£6.00), which is a more subtle version of their skeleton hand chain which she has previously worn. Not so subtle are her clunky 80’s inspired Coco Knocker Earrings from Cubannie Links ($40.00)
DEV toughens up her floral top with the Zip It Body Chain from Norwegian Wood, which had been sold at Nasty Gal but is now unavailble. You can get the look with the Spike Center Section Body Chain from Topshop for $30.00 or find a huge selection of body harnesses on Etsy.
In the “Like A G6” music video, DEV wears a few pieces from American Apparel. Her pants are the Disco Pants ($82.00) which are a favorite of hers – she also wears them in her “In The Dark” video! Her lace top is the Stretch Floral Lace Bodysuit ($38.00) and she has the Cotton Spandex Ruched Front Tube Bra ($15.00) on underneath.
In this photoshoot, DEV has gone for a very glamorous look with a black and gold dress paired with The Hollywood Earring by Melody Ehsani ($42.00). The shapes on the earrings remind me of Hollywood Regency style decor.
DEV is wearing Fly Society’s LBC T-Shirt ($26.50 at PacSun). The phrase “So Much Drama in the LBC” is a line from the Snoop Dogg song “Gin and Juice.” Fly Society writes:
The famous rap promo tee. Way before downloading destroyed promo, record labels’ budget for rap albums always included promo tees with a hook or catchphrase in bold white letters from the album they were promoting. These things were rampant in the streets all the way up until recent times. They have now gone the way of the dinosaur kinda like Pen & Pixel album covers…
Take it back to ’94, and grab this t-shirt and more exclusively at PacSun.
In this photoshoot for Hot Topic’s new LOVEsick denim line, DEV wears LOVEsick’s Black Acid Wash Super Skinny Jeggings ($34.50) with a Hot Topic Black Lace Moto Jacket
($39.50) and Jeffrey Campbell “She-Man” Wedges ($144.95). Her style here is a bit more laid back than usual – she doesn’t typically wear jeans – but she’s still got that mix of girlie glam and toughness that I love about her style. If only I knew where that awesome jacket was from!
In her new music video for “In The Dark,” DEV wears a pair of futuristic silver shield sunglasses from Stevie Boi, who has designed shades for celebrities ranging from Lady Gaga to Snookie. You can buy the “SB Dev’s” for $170.00
Gasoline Glamour is known for their ourtrageous designs – combining sparkles, studs, and found objects into pieces that blur the line between fashion and art. DEV wears two pieces from the line in her new music video for “In The Dark.” Gasoline Glamour’s bold style is a good fit for the video, in which DEV wears simple clothes with outlandish makeup and accessories. Her Crystal Gunmetal Cuff is adorned with metal spikes in all shapes and sizes. Her Halston Black Mini Drip Necklace combines a black metal bib with draped chains and giant crystals.
