Taylor Momsen is wearing the Infected Dress from UK goth brand Hell Bunny with the Dr. Martens Women’s 1B60 Boot. Both pieces are available from a number of stores:
dress: £29.95 at The Gothic Shop, £29.99 at Sinderella’s Shrine, $60.95 at Tragic Beautiful (Australia), £34.95 at Rock Collection
boots: $139.95 at Endless, $150 at Dr Martens, $150 at Zappos
Taylor Momsen’s tee has an intricate graphic print with flags, birds, skulls, and a butterfly and is accented with jewels. It is quite similar to this White Print Burnout Tank Top from Topshop ($45.00).
Taylor Momsen wore Allure Lingerie’s Vinyl Dress ($41.99) while performing in Lille, France on Wednesday night. The dress is quite similar to the lace-up vinyl dress which she wore this fall.
the dress is available in many more stores, including Supermodel Boutique: $43.83, Best Line Lingerie: $49.42, Lingerie Specialists: $49.39, and Allure Store: $51.99
Taylor Momsen owns shortened versions of the Siren Dress ($450) by lingerie designer Kiki de Montparnasse in both black and red. She wore the black version while performing with her band The Pretty Reckless at the Warped Tour kick-off party in April 2010 and the red version at the Atlanta date of the 2010 Warped Tour.
Taylor Momsen recently wore two pieces of merch from British metal band Motörhead. On March 2nd, she wore a Motörhead t-shirt backstage at Fuse studios in New York City with a Velvet Underground Hoodie, Pleaser boots, and Sex Trash garter. She bundled up in the cold weather with a Motörhead hoodie and ripped black jeans on February 27th in Montreal, where she and her band The Pretty Reckless were photographed outside of their concert.
Both pieces seem to be current tour merch. The t-shirt has the Roman numerals MMXI which is 2011, and the hoodie has XXXVI in celebration of the band’s 36th anniversary (they formed in 1975). You can buy similar merch with Motörhead’s classic war pig logo without the dates.
I’m in love with these lace-up tights which Taylor Momsen wore at her concert in Austin tonight and to the premiere of “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” last week with her Sex Trash corset and bullet shoes, but unfortunately they cost $255. Her exact pair are Wolford’s Artiste Lace-up Tights. I’ve found a few similar pairs of lace up tights and thigh-highs, though they all lace up the back rather than the front.
left to right:
Wolford Artiste Lace-up Tights – $255.00 [exact]
Lycra Lace-up Back Pantyhose – $12.00 [similar]
Lycra Mesh Thigh Highs with Metal Hooks and Satin Ribbon Lace Up – $16.15 [similar]
Leg Avenue Opaque Thigh Hi with Lace Up Back – $14.95 [similar]
Taylor Momsen wore a Rob Zombie tee which was made into a dress while at The Grove in Los Angeles on February 11, where she chatted with Extra. Unlike some of her other diy t-shirts which just have the sleeves cut off, this one was sewn into a trapeze mini dress with red rope straps. Underneath, Taylor wore printed maroon tights with black fishnet thigh high stockings on top, and sky-high stiletto platform lace-up boots. I haven’t identified Taylor’s exact shoes, but Pleaser, the brand which makes most of Taylor’s stage shoes, sells a similar pair. Her accessories were minimal: a chunky black cross necklace and oversized black sunglasses.
Rob Zombie 25 Years T-shirt – $19.95 [exact – reconstructed] (more stores)
Pleaser Delight-1020 5.75 Inch Lace-Up Platform Ankle Boot Side Zip Boots – $109.99 [similar]
Taylor Momsen loves the clothing line Sex Trash from New York City based designer Stephanie Paterek – just this week she has already worn two different outfits from the label. All of Taylor’s pieces are one of a kind and hand-made. Paterek mixes leather, lace, and studs to create looks that are part boudoir lingerie and part rock and roll, a perfect look for Taylor Momsen who likes to play up both her sex appeal and her edginess.
Paterek designed the red dress that Taylor wore at the kick-off show of The Pretty Reckless’s Light Me Up Tour in Los Angeles on February 11, the studded corset and shorts worn on the red carpet at the premier of “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” on February 8, the black dress that she wore during the UK tour in December, the silky light blue dress and veil worn in the “Miss Nothing” music video, and the off-white dress worn by Taylor throughout Warped Tour this summer. Paterek also designed the outfit worn by “baby Taylor” on the cover of The Pretty Reckless’s debut album Light Me Up which was released in the United States this Tuesday.
Last month Taylor Momsen wore Swarovski’s Teddy Pendant (and not much else) on stage at a gig in Wolverhampton UK. Taylor’s exact necklace sells for $190, but for those of us without celebrity wallets, Forever 21 sells a rhinestone-encrusted bear necklace for only $4.80. It doesn’t look nearly as nice, but what did you expect for 1/40th of the price?
from the comments: “There is another option at Claire’s, I’ve seen it today so it must be pretty new, and it looks way more like the original than the one from Forever 21.” Thanks for the tip Yaiza!
