Wearing a sheer skirt presents the conundrum of what to wear underneath so that you aren’t flashing the world your underwear or worse. You can always go with a nude slip, but another option is to wear a bodysuit and let your legs show through the skirt, which is what Sleigh Bells singer Alexis Krauss has done. She wore the Neon Beaded Fringe Body from Reverse ($59.65) under the cobalt blue Chiffon Full Length Skirt from American Apparel ($46.00).

Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells performed on SNL in a customized version of the Cruiser Tie Dyed V-Neck from Obesity & Speed ($62.00). We see a lot of tees with the sleeves cut off, but this one is more destroyed than most with little holes all over and a massive rip on the stomach. Despite her deconstructed clothes, she still manages to look put-together. I think it’s a combination of the tucked-in shirt and the super sleek hair–I would love to know her secret!

Sleigh Bells' "Comeback Kid" music video

Alexis Krauss rocks some awesome custom clothes in Sleigh Bells’ music video for “Comeback Kid,” the fist single from their newly released album Reign of Terror. Her studded leather jacket is from East Village vintage punk shop Search & Destroy. Her denim shorts were made by Bambi and Manson from a pair of vintage Levi’s that have been cut-off, slashed, bleached, and dyed. You can order your own custom-made “Scarlets” for £50.00.
