Brandi Cyrus heart hand tattoo

Brandi Cyrus has a heart tattoo between her thumb and index finger on her right hand.  This is same location (though on the opposite hand) that her father Billy Ray Cyrus has a heart tattoo.  Brandi’s tattoo is slightly larger than her dad’s and it is an outline while his is filled out.  Billy Ray got his tattoo for Miley after she drew a heart on his hand, but now the tattoo is shared amongst all of the Cyrus family members.  Miley and their mother Tish both have hearts on their pinkies while their brother Trace has a heart on his thumb.

  1. @Love the Lord Your God with all you heart and @a teen who wants u 2 understand….

You know what else is in Leviticus/The Old Testament? Don’t eat rare and raw meat, pork, or wear clothing woven of two different kinds of material. I would LOVE to see how often you eat bacon or wear clothes that are 70% cotton and 30% polyester.

God made those laws specifically because the Israelites were kind of stupid and He didn’t trust them accordingly. Tattoos back then were specifically to honor pagan gods and idols. It’s not the tattoo itself, it’s the intent behind it God disapproves of.

And a teen who just wants u 2 understand, it says nowhere in Leviticus to kill people as a general rule to the public. God gives commands to certain people, but you can not apply those rules to everyone.

It is not your place to judge other peoples’ relationships with God, especially people you don’t even know, based on what YOU see on the outside. Does Jesus not say, “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” ?

Let’s not judge others, let’s love people.

  2. This is just wrong with people who claim to be Christians. It says in the Bible in Leviticus not to get a tattoo.they should know better. We are supposed to be children of God not children of the world. When we sin and keep sinning without confessing and making things right with God we start falling deeper into sin until we start pulling away from God. And I mean sin upsets him
. Are you really going to make God disapointed in you and sad just so you can have scars filled with ink on your body. If God wanted you to have them you would have been born with them but no he made you perfect and you shouldn’t mess with Gods perfect creation. Anyways the Bible says that your body is the temple of God and if anyone destroys Gods temple God will destroy him. And one last thing think to yourself when I mark up my body and say nasty vulgur words and put harmful substances into my body and let everyone see me naked am I really honoring God. Let me tell you when judgement day comes you’ll be a whole heap of a lot more scared of failing Gods expectations than you will of failing to meet the worlds expectations. So you have the descision when God comes what do I want him to find me doing honoring him or taking part int the sinful things of this world that belong to the devil.

    • I don’t know about you, but did you forget that Leviticus is in the Old testament? Although it says not to do so it also says we shouldn’t cut our hair or have shellfish, now you’re not going to tell me to not do that now are you? Jesus died for our sins, and if getting a tattoo to show our love for Him is wrong. I don’t want to know what you find is right.

      • So does that mean I can go and kill someone because that was written in the old testament. No! Did u also kkno that in corinthians (which is in the new testament btw) it says that your body is the temple of God and that whoever destroys God’s temple God will destroy him. Also I would hate 2 kno what you find right. Do you find it right to throw away all that Jesus Christ has given us to be sinful? Lukewarm Christians are spit out. He would rather lukewarm Christians either be hot or cold. Just because you go to church or claim the name doesn’t make u a true christian. Whenever king David sinned he would weep bitterly in sack cloth and ashes because he knew he had wronged God and made God sad. why not show God our love by doing what he asks and what. Is right. That will show him our love. And yes he will forgive us by why not try to please him by obeying him. Plus it will keep us out of things that will draw us away from him. And oh for the other comment the Bible is real and I sincerely hope you come to realize it and. Come to kno the great love of our Lord and Savior and that u 2 can b with him someday

      • And also I do kno that Leviticus is in the old testament andsome of the stuff in there is in there becausee back then a lot of stuff was unsanitary so God told them not to do some of those things so that they wouldn’t get sick. And the hair all depends on boy and girl bcause there are different things with those. Like a woman’s long hair back then was like her pride and glory and in some cases showed her submission to her husband and God and in the same way too with mens hair it showed their reverence to God. I could give you more info about hair back then if you’d like or you could look it up yourself or us a learned pastor.

        • Yeah! Finally someone else is standing up! Oh and Seriously..? I am aware that Leviticus is in the Old Testament but does that mean that we should forget it? It is a part of the Bible for a reason and some of the stuff in the old testament has been abolished with the death of our savior but most of the stuff still applies. Also honoring our bodies is mentioned multiple times in the new testament. Another thing to consider is that tattoos originated among the pagans (VERY bad people) they were a sinful thing from the beginning that started with a sinful people who refused to know God

          • Okay it seems there is some misinformation here and I would like to clear things up with clear quotes from the bible that are not taken out of context. Old testament law existed because there was a disconnect between God and man as a result of sin. Jesus later came to take the burden of our sin so that believers can now have direct communication with God. As a result we are no longer bound by old testament law.

            Romans 10:4
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”

The new testament does not mention tattoos as that “body is a temple” verse is taken grossly out of context when referring to tattoos, (The first mention in Corinthians is referring to the church body and the later two are referencing the sexual union between a man and woman). I prefer to look on this verse in Corinthians instead…

            1 Corinthians 10:31
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God”

God’s ultimate goal is to bring glory to himself. If someone chooses to tattoo themselves as an outward expression of there faith I see nothing wrong with using that as a visual interpretation of there love for there creator.

    • I don’t really think that it is your place to condemn and judge people for their decision to get tattooed. In Samuel, it also says that man (humans) judge by outer appearances, but God judges by the heart; with that said, I don;t think it really matters what people decide to put on the outsides of the bodies, because that is not what God is focusing on. Some people get religious tattoos (my first tattoo was meant to represent my faith in God), and others have many reasons for getting tatted, so it is very unfair of you to say that we are all wrong when you really don’t know any of us

    • My god its a feking tattoo big deal get over it! N quite frankly who would wanna believe in a god if he punishes u 4 stupid reasons. Love, its the 21st century times have changed. I’m quite sure u r by far not perfect urself !!

    • The rib cage tattoo is Cherokee. It means ‘black horse’ and in English it is written gvnagei soquili. I don’t know anything about Brandi, I stumbled on this page while looking for celebrity tattoos and I speak Cherokee so I recognized it :)

    • I am also glad that someone finally took a stand, because in our current day, everything is OK.
Well to the one who says the Bible is made up, I hope that you see the light of Christ sooner than later.
Also, Jesus said I did not come to change the law but to fulfill it. It also plainly states in the Bible no markings on the body and no piercings, but I do have pierced ears, but if I would have know this verse, when I was younger, I would have never done it. So the Bible is the Bible, if Our Heavening Father, did not feel we needed that part of the Bible, we would not have access to it.

Christ is the beginning and the end. Alpha and Omega, the Truth and the Light. So the whole Bible is important not just parts of it. I used to think the New Testament was all we needed until I became closer to Christ. With the Gay rights, the Obama Care and Wars that we are in, the earthquakes that has happened in places that it has never happened in that place before. I could go on and on, this is all in the Bible ALL of what is going on right before our own eyes, it is very plain in the Bible, and I mean ALL of these things, people just do not see it. Sodom and Gamora was destroyed by God, because of the Sin in that city or country, which ever it was. United States is worse than Sodom ever was. I hope and pray that all of us here on Earth make it to Heaven, but some don’t even believe. So, how can you believe in something that you cant see?

You Breath don’t you? Can you see the air that you breath? NO, you feel it. Do you see the wind that you feel on your face??? No you feel it!!! Just like Jesus, we cannot see him but we can feel his blessings in our heart, and there will be no doubt if this happens to you. I hope it does. We all sin everyday, and we don’t even realize it, a wrong thought, things we say, people we hurt and the same is with our Blessings, that we do not even realize the Blessings he gives that we don’t even see. I hope this helps someone out there. May God Bless you all and all accept Christ in your heart and remember, Who so ever Believes in Christ shall not perish but have EVERLASTING Life. What would Jesus do????? Would he get Tatoos? Piercings? Did God make Adam and Eve or Adam and Steve? Did he show is body almost completely naked? Would he watch the movies that are on TV today, which almost all the movies use his name in vain, why does the producer even put this in the script? Ask yourself, does it make the movie better???? No
it pleases Satan, who is well and alive on this earth, and he wants people to be his followers. Who are you going to choose???
