Actress Ginnifer Goodwin has a tattoo of an apple on her right arm just above the elbow. Ginnifer plays Snow White on the television series Once Upon A Time and her character is fearful of apples.  The tattoo is hidden on the show, however, and she got the ink for personal reasons.  She explained to MovieWeb “I wish they’d let me show my tattoo in the show – but they don’t. To me, apples symbolize wisdom and purity, but I love the thought that the apple is something Snow White uses as a symbol of survival. This is the thing she overcame. It’s like a reminder to her.”
