Katy Perry arriving at LAX April 1st, 2013 – photo: Yahoo
Katy Perry arrived at LAX last week, heading to Africa with UNICEF. She wore a Staring at Stars Tie-Dye High/Low Dress ($29.99) from Urban Outfitters and a JET by John Eshaya Hoodie Jean Jacket with Leather Sleeves ($374.00). You can get a cheaper jacket at Miss Selfridge ($85.00).

Katy Perry was spotted out on Saturday night in the Pierre Balmain Paisley Print Dress. You can buy this dress for $614.00 or marked down to $388.50 in size 42 only.
Katy’s shirtdress is extremely short and she ended up flashing some of her behind to the paparazzi. Taylor Momsen wore this print on a blouse a few month back, but she wore shorts underneath — does this mean Taylor wore more clothes than someone else for once? Well Taylor did have her bra hinging out, so I’m calling this a tie.

Katy Perry at the Hennessy V.S Coachella After Party on April 13, 2012
Katy Perry is a style chameleon and adapts her fashion sense to fit the occasion. At the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, she wore a neon outfit. But for an after party at the Coachella music festival she went for a more subdued color palette and an indie rocker look, wearing hipster-favorite brands Wildfox Couture, House of Holland, and T.U.K. You can buy Katy’s Wildfox Couture White Label The West Was Won Hankshaw Dress for $399.00 or $445.00, House of Holland for Pretty Polly Bones Tights for £12.48, and T.U.K. A7270 Creeper Shoes for $65.00.

Back in December, Katy Perry appeared on the red carpet in an off-white leather dress with a design made of gold studs in varying shapes and sizes. Her exact Geometric-Studded Leather Dress from the Versace Spring 2012 runway collection is available at Neiman Marcus for $7,925.
Fortunately there’s a much cheaper option: for $70.00, roughly one percent of the cost of Katy’s dress, you can get the Studded Shift Dress from Goddiva. Pair it with Michael Antonio “LoveMe” Metallic pumps for $39.99 to complete the Katy Perry look on a budget.

I don’t post about Katy Perry’s clothes as much as I used to because her style has gotten totally absurd. It’s not easy to find and not easy for anyone buy Katy to pull off. But every now and then I find that even the craziest of outfits are being imitated. Take for example this snowman dress. Etsy seller coyotepeyote has dropped the bubble skirt and pop-pom buttons to create a more casual and wearable Frosty The Snowman Holiday Dress ($95.00). It’s still fun and playful, but much less of a costume.
Katy’s wood grain fingerless gloves remind me of the Wolford Wilderness Tights ($23.80 and up), another more toned-down way to get Katy’s look.
For a photo in her Rolling Stone cover article, Katy Perry wore Leg Avenue’s Striped Fishnet Mini Dress, which sells for around $16.00. She’s tucked it into a hot pink and black leather-look mini skirt. With chunky plastic earrings and colorful sunglasses, this neon 80′s look would fit in with her “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” music video – but thankfully she’s dropped the braces and perm!
more stores: Amazon – $15.99, Lingerie Diva – $15.99, Lingerie Fashion Shop – $15.99, Body Kandi – $15.95, New Egg – $16.00, Yandy – $15.95

Katy’s red jacket and skirt outfit comes from the same Dior collection. It looks very victorian from the angle which Katy is photographed, but fresh and modern from the front.

This last outfit is again from the same collection. The flowy gray jacket, fuschia skirt, white belt, and gloves were all shown together, but the headpiece was shown with a different look.
