Taylor Momsen’s natural hair color is dirty blonde, thought she is best known for her platinum blonde looks. When she began acting on Gossip Girl in 2007, she had mid back length dirty blonde hair. Her look was very natural. In the beginning of 2008, she cut her hair to shoulder length. Her hair is parted far to her right side, and she has some shorter layers in the front that sweep across her face. She wore her hair either straightened or in loose waves. In September 2008, she kept her hair the same length but lightened it to platinum blonde and added bangs and lots of choppy razor-cut layers. At first she wore this hair style straight, but in 2009 she started wearing it wavy. In the summer of 2009 she added extensions to her hair and it has been progressively getting longer and longer since. Currently she wears her hair wavy most of the time, but she sometimes wears it in a messy straight style.

I think just having a timeline of Sierra’s hair (like this) would be awesome. Even if it’s hard to re-create her exact hairstyle, it’d still be nice to have specific, good pictures like this.

I really like her hair,obv. not a fan of the time she had the roots,but hey, it was Warped Tour! I do with I could pull off her hair,but I’m olive skinned so I’d look stupid or like one of them Starbucks Frappucinos.

Kashfia, what’s your point? Loads of women have short hair but have extentions. I’m not seeing how this is a negative thing.

I don’t think it was a negative thing Kashifa was just pointing out that her hair isn’t naturally that length. Not everyone would necessarily know this and if they want to copy her style it is useful to know that her hair is actually very short and you can achieve this with hair extensions. It’s not like she was like woah she’s actually an ugly mofo with short ass hair. I read it as an observation. So hannah no I don’t think it was a nasty comment. My favorite look is shoulder-length tousled/messy hair with bangs (2008 – 2009).
